Leave the Obama daughters alone, except when POTUS needs to sell books
Many times we have been lectured by the White House to leave President Obama’s wife and daughters alone because they are not “public figures.”
Except, of course, when they are needed to…
…reach the all-important Access Hollywood demographic…
…flog the FLOTUS anti-obesity campaign…
…spice up a Gulf swim photo-op…
…and now, sell books for dad’s contractually-obligated children’s book…
As part of the book deal then-Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., inked in 2004, Random House today announced the publication of a children’s book by the president, “Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters.”
The book will be released on November 16 – roughly two weeks after the midterm elections — with a 500,000-copy first printing. …
The book will be published by Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers and is part of the three-book, $1.9 million deal that then-Sen. Obama reached with Random House through his powerful attorney Bob Barnett.
The announcement about the book urging children to pursue their dreams comes just as Obama prepares to broadcast his second back-to-school speech to schoolchildren — prime book-buying targets — today striking the same theme.

The title should be “Of Me I Sing”. No?
Obama has no grace whatsoever. Everything he does is contrived. It is really a shame that our system can be so easily manipulated.
I don’t begrudge someone for trying to earn a living. Obama is simply not authentic. Nothing about Obama makes any sense without explanation.
Obama grew up in a country with sharia law and that’s why he was so disgusted with the guy burning the koran. He wasn’t upset as president, but he was upset as a guy who was taught it was bad in his formative years.
The preacher and many Americans had to be told and taught it was a bad thing to do.
Basically, there is no good and bad unless Obama says it is either good or bad. He wants to raise taxes for some Americans and he frames it in terms of ‘R’s holding everyone hostage’.
It’s all an illusion. Obama has no conviction. Even if he is Muslim, he doesn’t really believe anything.
The main problem with the system was that McCain was the alternative.
I’m not endorsing Ron Paul, but I do hope that someone with some conviction gets elected president at some point in my life. Ron Paul seems to be that kind of guy. . . he says what he thinks, not what he thinks you want to hear.
Fortunately Americans don’t really need DC. If America actually needed something important from our elected officials, we would all be in trouble.
…Oh, and I’d bet my hard earned money all the little school children in America will be given “free” copies at school to take home, which will be paid for by the taxpayers, making “book sales” skyrocket.
Won’t that be generous of the dicktator in chief?
Wait a minute…. Someone tell me where he had time to write this book…… with all those vacations and world apology tours he had to deal with??????
OH BOY. I can’t wait to NOT buy it.
And then Boehner goes on TV and says, yeah, I will support keeping taxes low for people under 250,000. They use that to say Boehner ‘caved’ to the president.
When Boehner understands how the process works. Boehner doesn’t write the bills or bring them up. . . he offers amendments and votes. The alternative to not voting for tax cuts is that taxes are raised. So no, Boehner isn’t going to raise taxes on anyone.
Boehner says that he’ll try to get the tax cuts for everyone like lots of Democrats want too. . . but if he can’t get cuts for everyone, he’ll at least get the cuts for as many as he can and work on lowering rates for everyone later.
Then R’s jump on Boehner for being a RINO not based on what he said, but based on what was reported.
The problem is the people are being manipulated into thinking and believing what they are told to think and believe rather than what is really happening.
McCain for example wants us to be at war forever in Afghanistan. We can end this threat through the state department, but McCain wants to be a ‘war hero’ so he’ll waste other peoples’ money and other peoples’ lives to prove it.
We need to get back to what is important in this country instead of hype. Obama’s kids aren’t important.
While not golfing or playing like president, Obama has time for book writing? Weird play president we have.

I wonder what “dreams” Obama hopes that children in America ought to pursue? After seeing some of the signage used at the Al Sharpton 8/28 event in Washington, DC (particularly, the one with MLK who’s titled “THE DREAMER” on one side, and Obama on the other entitled as “THE DREAM,” it ought to be obvious that HE is the only “dream” that the mindless minions for “the One” care about.
For Obama to say that children (or anyone else) should be encouraged to pursue THEIR dreams cannot be farther from the truth. I mean, liberalism is set up in order to PUNISH people who seek to fulfill their potential, unless one’s idea of reaching their potential is to be an unmotivated parasite.
So long as there are people like BO ruling (as opposed to serving at the behest of) the American people, the only dreams that they will experience will be nightmares. Hopefully, this realization will reach saturation with the public by 2012.
By the way, I wonder if Obama did this one all by himself, or did he have the “help” of his top enabler Bill Ayers…
