Obama’s rationing czar cuts and runs

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 22, 2010 10:06 AM

Our good friend and former Hot Air TV correspondent Jason Mattera, now editor-in-chief at Human Events, tried to ask White House recess appointee/Medicare-Medicaid chief Donald Berwick a few questions about his views.

This is what public accountability in the age of Obama looks like:

Pretty good Road Runner imitation there, Dr. Berwick!

We saw what Obama really is during the Zelaya episode with Honduras.

A question I would never ask about Bush, but do you think O will walk out of the office on his own when the voters reject him?

Yes. Because even the liberal media wouldn’t be able to gloss over that.

His only alternative would be to call out the military and maybe all local police forces. Ask any soldier, sailor, Marine, and police officer if they would enforce martial law because an outgoing president, lawfully voted out of office, told them to, just so he could retain the office. They would all laugh in his face. Every general and admiral and police cheif would be shown standing with the incoming president.

Socialism can only go so far in this country. We have to put up with unconstitutional garbage like gov’t health care, social security, etc. But it stops at elections and getting voted out of office.

Besides, didn’t the democrats say that FL voters were “disenfranchised” during the 2000 elections? Didn’t they sue for that very reason (to make every vote count)? They’d have to do some pretty fancy footwork to explain how voters were “disenfranchised” because they couldn’t read the ballot but they are not when a president gets voted out of office and refuses to leave.

I finally refused to talk politics with any of them anymore (they all feel compelled to try to save their fallen son/brother/nephew/uncle/cousin) after my mother started regularly telling me they all “Still love you anyway.”

In my last argument with 7 of them at once, one of my brothers finally pointed out I wasn’t defending Bush/the Republicans. I was saying a pox on both parties.

The rest of them started ignoring him. The body language was hilarious/spooky.
