John Kerry Explains Dem Woes: Voters are Stupid

John Kerry has a sinking feeling about the election in November, so he’s trying a new tactic to sway people to vote Democrat: Insulting their intelligence:

A testy U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation.

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters after touring the Boston Medical Center yesterday.

Every coffin needs a nail, so, as he’s done many times in the past, John Kerry has answered this call to service. Uninformed moronic serfs will supply the hammer on November 2nd.

If this doesn’t bump up Dem poll numbers, Kerry’s going to start riffing with the “voters mommas are so fat…” jokes to see if that helps.

Have Thurston & Lovey written Massachusetts a check yet for the Bay State luxury taxes they avoided on the SS Rhode Island? (Wait, I’m not supposed to remember that because of my short attention span and all, so nevermind)

Update: dutt80 via Twitter: Didn’t he say the same about soldiers?

Sadly, I think this accurately describes a large percentage of voters. However, I don’t think Kerry would like the results of an electorate which did pay more attention, so he shouldn’t be complaining.

Yes we are but mere children to be nudged, prodded and pushed for our own good. They will drag us kicking and screaming into the Brave New World so that we may do what be for born to do: Serve our betters.

But then I have had a hatred for Comrade Kerry ever since his perjured testimony before the HalfBrite Committee in 1971. Lets hope for some change.

People knew very little about him at first except that he was reportedly a famous “war hero” and had big connections. He led big in the polls until the VFW and American Legion figured him out and exposed him for being the traitor that he is.

He got trounced in the election and it was assumed that his political career was over, until Dukakis made him Lieutenant Governor. This guy went from being an unelectable traitor to senator which is why he has so little respect for voters. That is why we have such a lousy government. Even when we know our guy sucks, we elect him anyway.

But I am still befuddled how he could convince ANYONE he was for border enforcement after McCain-Kennedy, after years of whining about Big Money in politics he of McCain-Feingold spends more than anyone here ever has.

This started in CA where we still don’t have a Republican party. Chuck Devore should be the GOP candidate running against Boxer right now but American conservatives would rather fight against the Delaware GOP elites than the CA GOP elites.

Just think where we would be today had AZ topples McPalin-endorsed McCain and McPalin-endorsed Fiorina. I can’t tell you how stupid those two endorsements were.

We didn’t let Orrin Hatch get away with his lame “right thing to do”, “personal loyalty” excuse for keeping now former Republican Sen Murky in her committee chair. Why did we let McPalin get away with it? We need to discard our blinders and be consistent.

Somewhere along the way, McPalin will have to tell us which side she is on and which of here endorsement reflect here true principles. Until she does, she is a compromised candidate who looks more like a stalking horse for the GOP establishment elite. Let’s hope she is OUR snake.

Just how badly has Obama lost Independents?

In the last 20 months, he’s gone from +12 to -35 among Independents!

January 19, 2009: Obama, the first African-American elected President, earns a +73 rating from Democrats and a -18 among Republicans. As for voters not affiliated with either major party, 34% Strongly Approve and 22% Strongly Disapprove to give the President-elect a +12 rating on the day before his inauguration.

September 19, 2010: Among voters not affiliated with either major party, just 17% Strongly Approve and 52% Strongly Disapprove.

(That represents a current -35 rating among Independents, as compared to his +12 rating among Independents on the day before his inauguration.)

Obama won in 2008 by winning over Independents…
now he’s going to lose Congress because he’s lost Independents…

Voters were sure stupid/ignorant/moronic/etc to ever vote for elitist John F’n Kerry. His remarkable record of ‘service’ as a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee from 1993 to 2001 is highlighted by his attending a whopping 25% of the public hearings of that committee. In fact, the year after the FIRST World Trade Center bombing attack in late 1993, there were four committee hearings that included testimony concerning how to prevent future terrorist attacks like the one on the WTC tower. Kerry took the extra determination to attend ZERO of those hearings in 1994.

Bush NAILED Kerry with the damning truth during the 2004 election but back then, yes, there were many stupid voters who didn’t pay attention and voted for Kerry anyway – I surmise that all of them were democrats.

Yes everywhere I go these days people are talking about the weather, the kids, the price of tea in China. Last weekend I had dinner with an old friend and his family. He owns a large commercial painting company which is down to him and one employee from having 30 employees 3 years ago. His son is one of those laid off, and he is going into the government as his dad readies for permanent shutdown and retirement. I visited a plant sale company yesterday and he questioned whether he could survive as his business was off 60% from 2 years ago, and his property tax went up 10% this year. Everywhere I go, the ONLY conversation people are having is what a mess these tax and spend communists have made of the economy in just a few short years. There isn’t a single small business in America that isn’t very concerned for it’s future, and scrimping on everything to stay alive. SO THURSTON AND LOVEY, WHY DON’T YOU LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND PAY YOUR BOAT FEES AND QUIT CALLING US STUPID BECAUSE WE TOO DON’T ACCEPT COMMUNIST CONFISCATORY TAX POLICY.

Kerry still has enough money to throw at his “stupid” liberal voters, enough in fact, to mold their views using tried and true political spin (we call it lying,) and to have them re-elect him.

If I were running for office, my message would be most important, and I would hope that my constituency would be smart enough to understand a simple message, without the need for clarification. It would be an embarrassment to be elected by an ignorant, easily swayed electorate…unless all I cared about was obtaining, or maintaining power.

Those who have succumed to the intoxication of power, will never admit to that addiction, nor ever willing to relenquish it, even under threat of prosecution for corruption, tax evasion, and/or perjury. Their fingers always point away from themselves, claiming with straight faces, “my hands are clean!”
