Loretta Sanchez’s ethnic card implosion

Oops. Seven-term Democrat Rep. Loretta Sanchez is sorry…that she got caught.

Sorry that she got caught pandering to Latino voters on Spanish-language Univision and whipping up ethnic-based fervor against her Vietnamese-American GOP opponent Van Tran. “The Vietnamese” and the “Republicans,” she screeches, are “trying to take away” her seat!

Allahpundit at Hot Air and Breitbart TV spotlighted Sanchez’s demagoguery, first reported by the OC Weekly, last week. Watch if you haven’t already. Watch again if you have:

Sanchez’s imperial claim to “her seat” is especially rich given that she obtained it through brazen illegal alien voter fraud.

But this is all the very natural outcome of Democrat grievance Olympics and tribal identity politics run amok, of course.

The hysteria of the threatened entrenched incumbent is always a sight to behold. But the hysteria of a minority liberal entrenched incumbent — threatened by a minority conservative challenger — is practically a nuclear meltdown. Watch the video again. Doesn’t Sanchez remind you of a certain Wizard of Oz character in her last death throes?

Live by ethnic entitlement. Die by ethnic entitlement.

Support Van Tran here.
