No Wonder Alan Grayson’s Getting Even Nuttier Than Usual

The hopefully future ex-Florida Representative and inspiration for the invention of the straight-jacket is down by seven points in Florida:
In one of the most closely watched U.S. House races in the nation, Republican Daniel Webster now holds a 7-point lead over Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson in Central Florida’s 8th Congressional District, according to a new Sunshine State News Poll.
Webster, a former state senator, leads the freshman congressman 43-36 in the survey of 559 likely voters conducted Sept. 25-27. TEA (“Taxed Enough Already”) Party candidate Peg Dunmire drew 6 percent and NPA hopeful George Metcalfe garnered 3 percent, while 9 percent remained undecided (2 percent cited “other” and 1 percent refused to state).
Digging deeper, the numbers look even worse for Grayson as 51 percent of respondents said they had an unfavorable view of the Orlando-area congressman.
Time to make more of those lying, disgraceful context-edited ads! Saying the “Taliban Dan” ad was a “new low” as applied to Alan Grayson is a redundancy of the highest order. There’s still over a month until the election, so there’s plenty more “low” to go.
Here’s the reason for Grayson’s desperation to paint Daniel Webster as the second coming of Ike Turner meets Archie Bunker:
Female voters are anything but ambivalent about Grayson — “They really loathe him,” Lee reported. With Grayson’s 33/53 favorable/unfavorable rating among women, Webster’s lead among females is much stronger (45/33 over Grayson) compared to a statistical tie (41/40 Webster) among males.
Epic backfire.

How can anyone support this crackpot? I can see, say, 20% from the loony left. But this guy is an embarrassment to this country. Male voters in that district must be idiots.
One can only assume that the 49% who approve of Grayson are the Pirates of the Caribbean, maybe they thought the pollster said Graybeard.
How this man can look at himself in the mirror without being repulsed is beyond me. He’s hate filled and psycho. I hope the voters can show him the door. I’ll have a toast with you Bryan when they do.
Wish a Floridian would explain what it was that got this guy elected in the first place. Was it his anger?

Each time one of the MSM hacks declares (with sad face and non-tingling legs) how surprised/shocked or saddened they are by the defeat of (take your pick: Grayson, Reid–please take him down,Nevada–Crist,etc., or the two words, “tea party” it is time for a drink. Hang over, indeed. I will dance a jig in the street if Reid goes down in flames. Crist is a given, but that will be a sweet moment as well, to see his sad eyes of denial that his magic tan-flim-flam-man message did not bring him victory.

The day Grayson gets tossed into the dumpster, look for him to pop out with a half a cantaloupe strapped to the top of his head screaming he is an alligator then running and yelling into the swamp raving something about hampsters.
Florida has been stuck on stoooopid for some time now. Too many NY & NJ transplants. Obama even got the Jewish vote. A good protion of Christians here think a president who will support aborting on demand for children is a good thing. I used to live there and called it Floriduh. I hope things change.
Just wait till the next poll comes out, which, based on the massive interest after his last two insane ads, will probably be within a week. If he isn’t down by at least 20, then there is something wrong with people in the 8th District.
Soap…I “resemble” your insults towards the great state of Floriduh. Thankfully Grayson is not in my district, which is heavily populated with conservatives.
Soon we will have Senator Rubio and Congressman West to shake up DC. That is my hope, at any rate.
We need to hold each and every representative’s collective feet to the fire starting 11/3/10.
Webster has been slandered, pure and simple. That ad better be taken down, and NOW. I know we have a lot of wackos in Congress but this is so corrupt and so dishonest, he really shouldn’t be allowed to continue his campaign. If Grayson doesn’t lose the election, he needs to step down. There is no way that man should be allowed to enter the halls of Congress again.

Grayson is the type of Democrat that Stephen Colbert wished Republicans acted like, in order to justify his political shtick.
If memory serves correct, Leftist Nutberger Grayson replaced RINO Ric Keller who betrayed George Bush, the Republican Party and the nation when he turned against the war in Iraq.
Now it appears the Nutberger will go the way of Keller for many of the same reasons…

The fact that Grayson is even that close is stunning.
I second that prediction… A lot of people bemoan the supposed lack of Conservative male leaders but you only have to look as far as West, Rubio, Christy and DeMint to allay your fears.
Grayson is despicable, even for a Democrat.
A great ticket would be DeMint/Rubio for 8 years, then Rubio would choose a VP candidate very wisely, then serve for 8 years. Then…well, we could keep the progressives out of the WH for a very long time with the talent we have out there!! Some of the brave women who have been stepping up will play into that mix also!!
He’s a carpetbagger who moved to Florida, I hear, with the DNC’s approval to take on Ric Keller because they knew we had it Keller’s RINO behavior and that he went back on his word regarding term limits. Also, Grayson rode Obama’s coattails. Grayson does not care what he says or how he says it. The man is a VERY rich loudmouth bully and knows he can get away with it.
HOWEVER, his behavior is so bad even that left-leaning rag called the Orlando Sentinel has called him out over his ads.
Last St. Patrick’s Day Parade he rode in a convertible down our little Park Avenue here in Winter Park (a conservative stronghold). No one waved at him except two guys on the other side of the street. You could see Grayson sneering at the rest of us…he did it just to be a jerk…you, know, “in your face, Republicans!”.
I’ll be first in line at the polls!

When I was working, I always arranged to take the day off after elections. Ever since the Bush/Gore election when I sat up all night waiting for results, I have just assumed I would be up all night every time. This nation is so evenly divided between the left and the right…most of the races turn out to be nail-biters! However, I do believe this election will be a lot more of a landslide. Now we just need to make sure the rest of them are also.

It’s hard to stand out as a disgrace among a chamber filled with them. Yet Grayson has easily managed to make himself one of the most repulsive figures in the House.

If the GOP takes over Congress after this election, they MUST rein-in Obama and the ENTIRE culture of entitlement and dependence in our society. We can’t continue on with business as usual (but just a little less than usual than the Democrats). They must get serious about doing an about-face, and heading into the other direction. The direction we’ve been headed toward since FDR has been SERFDOM–the evil that our nation was a reaction against in the first place.

Regrettably, as with Clinton, the House GOP will get no support from the spineless RINO leadership in the Senate should the GOP regain a majority there. The Senate GOP leadership also suffers from a culture of political entitlement and elitism.

I met Peg Dunmire while standing in line at Sarah Palin’s booksigning last winter. Peg came across as very timid and not too bright. I thought, oh, no, not the Tea Party. Well, she was going down the line introducing herself and passing out literature to get donations. That is when I found out she wanted to run against Grayson. If I had been drinking coffee, I would have spewed it all over myself AND her. This Tea Party is NOT the Tea Party movement as we know it. News stories about Grayson/Getzloe backing were spreading months ago. As far as me and my conservative friends go, this is a sham done to benefit Grayson.
