Believe in Climate Change or Die, Kid!

The “10:10 Campaign” purports to be an effort to convince the world to cut carbon emissions ten percent per year for the next ten years. But if that doesn’t work, forget about eco-gulags for deniers — it might be necessary to just blow them up, kids and all.

By way of Story Balloon, here’s some salacious eco porn that Al Gore and the incredibly insane White House Science Czar might enjoy watching (fake blood and guts warning):

I’d be able to laugh off that video as an unfunny Monty Python-esque attempt at dark humor if I didn’t know so much about the visions and goals of the people peddling this particular scam.

Update: Chris Horner at AmSpec noticed that 10:10 took the video down from their site:

I now see they’ve taken the offending video down. Possibly in a belated fit of conscience. Or, more likely, seeing it was on its way to backfiring.

Seems to me that if “global warming” were indeed so scary in and of itself, there should be little need to inventing ways to scare kids into believing it.

Actually, a book was written with just this premise. It’s called Fallen Angels. It may be fiction, but it has much more scientific plausibility than does “Global Warming” or “Climate Change.”

In fact, 80 percent to 90 percent of global warming involves heating up ocean waters.

They are seeing just how pesky facts can be when they start making statements like this:

But if the aquatic robots are actually telling the right story, that raises a new question: Where is the extra heat all going?

Kevin Trenberth at the National Center for Atmospheric Research says it’s probably going back out into space. The Earth has a number of natural thermostats, including clouds, which can either trap heat and turn up the temperature, or reflect sunlight and help cool the planet.

But of course they won’t totally dismiss Al Gore’s scam and insert the possiblity that the heat just might be hiding in the ocean somewhere:

It’s also possible that some of the heat has gone even deeper into the ocean, he says.

The solution was to drop the mice into the snakes’ natural habitat, the branches of trees in the jungles of Guam. By outfitting the mice with cardboard wings and green party streams, the bait could float down to the jungle and catch on the branches. The result is a hanging, deadly snack for the snakes.

WASHINGTON – Grasping for the electric energy that propelled him to the White House, President Barack Obama whipped up young supporters at a rally Thursday night, where the boisterous crowd tried to shout down any talk of an “enthusiasm gap” among Democrats.

“I’m back here today just in case you’ve forgotten what it feels like to change the country,” Obama called out to a sold-out crowd of 3,000 at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at DAR Constitution Hall.

“It was always going to be hard,” Obama said as the crowd interrupted him with cheers and hollers. “Now is not the time to quit.”

The DNC had enlisted hip hop artist B.o.B to perform,

Has anyone seen the lyrics put out by B.o.B.?? Go and look them up. This is the kind of evil garbage endorsed by the DNC and the President of the United States. They use this kind of group to bring in the masses of our young people on campuses to rally for Obama. This information needs to go viral on the internet!! The book also alluded to the “Wildlands Project“, which is an ACTUAL project dreamed up by eco-wackos where millions upon millions of acres in the mid-west/west are grabbed, humans pushed off and it returned to the wild.

Ted Turner, being the nutball he is seems to favor this plan given the many thousands of acres he has grabbed, and continues to grab in the west.

You’ve hit on a strong parallel there. This ‘reduce your carbon’ and ‘green’ BS left the realm of science long ago and became a religion that basically demands that it’s followers submit to a lie, give up their freedom and advance an unquantifiable ‘greater good’ for dubious purposes that actually serve only to enrich the handful of people who are holding the reins of power over them.
