Left-a-palooza! — Updated
Earlier this week, I covered the SEIU 1199/Patrick Gaspard ties to the organizers of today’s Left-a-palooza in Washington.
Regular readers are also familiar with many of the “One Nation” organizations’ progressive K Street/DC roots.
Open-borders zealots will be out in full force. No doubt some of the same types of paid, non-English-speaking day laborers who’ve been hired by California Democrats will also be in attendance.
Their creed: One Nation, under government, indebted to Soros, with mortgage payments and social justice for all.
The union buses are still rolling in, but at the “One Nation” site, they’ve already posted aspirational photos of the scene at the mall:
Look for MSM coverage to go out of its way to emphasize the “diversity” of the crowd and de-emphasize the Marxist kookery.
Or don’t bother looking at all. Several readers tell me they will be participating in get-out-the-vote efforts this weekend in their neighborhoods while the progs hold their march. Excellent idea.
Update (DP):
HAP has video of the litter on the Mall after today’s rally (including a video of trash left at the WWII memorial). Presumably it’ll be the job of a separate set of union workers to clean that up. Compare that to the condition of the Mall after Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally.
In comparison though, today’s rally still doesn’t live up to the Barackalypse at the Mall after Obama’s inauguration.

Gotta call ‘em as I see ‘em, and progressive just does not fit.
If these people want socialism or any other -ism, why not get a plane ticket for a country which already has it and leave this country alone. If they don’t want the Constitution restored to its proper place, no one is keeping them here. Those charter buses can take them all to see Chavez. They can have their green jobs down there.

HI TXVET2–#84. Good observation on Greta. She is liberal–but she is fair and principled. I liked her Alaska video interviews with Sarah and Todd Palin. She asked good questions and got good answers from the Palins. And got an education in Alaska energy sources.

Well, the lefties haven’t changed much in their hygiene habits since Woodstock in ’69, have they?

Guess they litter like pigs, then hire illegals to do the work they cannot do,thereby somehow reducing their carbon footprint for algore. As the old hippie video says, you can’t stop a movement.
Because they all were paid/blackmailed/made to go to this rally they cleaned up like they perform anything else they do in life: in a half-a$$ed way. Check for the union label!
This is just a reminder that we cannot be complacent on Nov. 2. The socialists, communists, Cindy Sheehan followers and such are out there, and they will do what they can to destroy the country, bring it to a Cloward-Piven collapse. We need to work harder. No question we’re working smarter.
