Is Claim Left-a-Palooza Turnout Was ‘Bigger Than Beck’ True? Yes and No

Radio host/activist Joe Madison, after being introduced by Ed “Who?” Schultz at yesterday’s “One Unionized Nation” rally, said, “They sent in a satellite image of the crowd — somebody go tell Glenn Beck there are more people here right now than there was [sic] on the 29th!”
It was refreshing to hear a completely honest, non-inflated assessment of the crowd size.
I don’t doubt Mr. Madison’s claim for a second, because here’s how many people were in the Mall to see Glenn Beck on August 29th:
That’s because Beck’s “Restoring Honor” gathering was on August 28th.
Even if we compare apples to apples on the correct dates, the Associated Press isn’t even buying the “bigger than Beck” claims.
I can understand the confusion as to crowd size though — from a satellite photo, all those pieces of paper, socialist flyers and union placards littering the ground could be easily mistaken for people.

I heard there were “trillions”.
It’s not how many go to the Capitol. It’s how many go to the voter’s booth.

Is this possible? Did the Left-a-Palooza try to tell us something that was not true? My my, who could have guessed that they would do such a thing. Perhaps they have been less than forthright on other issues? Is this possible? I did spend the day listening to the Left-a-Palooza (while weeding the garden) and they lied, whined and cried about everything else so I guess it is possible they lied about the attendance.
But I was somewhat amused by the United Auto Workers applauding the line about a Living Wage. As they continue to send their jobs overseas they should be calling for a living wage in Korea, China and Japan. Try to pull this nonsense over there. Perhaps they could rally in Tiananmen Square.
As we leave our neighborhood the city has put up a sign: NO LEFT TURN- always fine advice.

The speakers at this event seemed stuck in the 1930′s or 1940′s. Many spoke like Comrade Obama’s wife Michelle did–for them America is still a racist, homophobic country that discriminates against minorities. And does not provide equal education opportunities for all. They must be going to Reverend Wright’s Black Liberation Theology church.

This is yet another big moment artificially constructed by the globalist Marxist forces to claim a phony victory and the majority of Americans who believe they are winning are looking right at them expecting the MSM to lie again. We KNOW they are going to lie. And the “we” part is growing faster and faster.
Things can’t get worse for the MSM. They need a turning point but they keep hitching their wagons on the wrong side of American history. They keep betting against the very American character that has defined American history. That character is now driving the greatest event since the War of Independence itself unfolds before their eyes and they get it wrong. It’s like writing 18th century American history and omitting the part where the American colonies fought and won a war against the greatest power on earth.
Come November, there will be big changes and that will only be the beginning. They need to get it right or perish.

Patriots and adults had their rally on August 28, 2010 with Glenn Beck. Traitors, race hustlers, half-wits, and lost adult-children had their rally yesterday. The choice for our future was never more clear.

Is is any wonder that everything run by the far left, like national and state government, schools, and unions are completely broke? I would go even further and say they, or most of their heirarchy, is corrupt, self-serving,, and are motivated to keep the masses ignorant, indoctrinated, and uninformed .
They won’t have a “come to Jesus” moment before the November election, but I hope, (in keeping with their math brilliance) that they encourage their supporters to go to the polls on November 3rd and vote how they have been told to vote! Clearly they are not intelligent enough to do their own research.
This would be ammusing if I knew that the masses wouldn’t buy into the lie. However, most people just will take the word of the liars and assume it was bigger than the Beck Rally. A point I made the other day, though is…I don’t care how many people attended this rally. They were financed by communists/solicalist, they were bussed in, they were given food and water, they were give pre-made signs, they were given speeches by communists, mafia union thugs, close personal friends of Castro and Chavez and other America-haters, who happen to be buddies with our POTUS. The contrast between the two events couldn’t be more stark!! Sadly, a lot of the “little people” who attended, drank the kool aid and were sucked in once more! They are the losers in all of this.
Oddly enough – for a network convinced everyone on the right is a racist – they don’t actually employ many (if any) on-air minorities.
I’m reminding of all the attendees at the Obowmao rallies prior to the elections. Remember…they gave away beer and had free live music? I’m going to quote my favorite Rhett Butler quote and say “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn”.
I care about how many people are in the voting booths on November 2.

Many Americans were going to attend yesterday’s rally, but for the lack of enthusiasm.
Make no mistake, they will be enthused enough to wake up on November 2 and go to the polling booths.
As a side note: The clowns (Stuart and Colbert) will have an uphill battle besting yesterday’s crowd in their own rallies on October 30, 2010.
I’m sure it’s true that there were more UNION members at the Dem rally; otherwise, a picture is worth a thousand words.
I happened to have attended both rallies. Beck’s was huge – this unity rally not so big. In order to make the unity crowd appear bigger than it was, attending organizations were given what appeared to be pre-assigned locations. Note the number of uniters at the WW-II memorial to make things “look” big.
In any event, no pun intended, the unity rally paled in comparison to the Restore Honor rally — and everyone knows it.
It’s pretty obvious everyone in the Democrat Socialist Party, from the ground up, is terrible at math.
It seems like:
- One side of America is really, REALLY angry with the direction we are going.
- Another side is kind of angry that the first side is really, REALLY angry with the direction we are going.
If I was Michael Vick…and these two sides of America were pit bulls in a ring…I would put my November money on the pit bull that is really, REALLY angry with the direction we are going.
Let the Matthews, the Olbermans and the Maddows of the world define our “anger” in December. For now…just get yourselves to the damn voting booths in November and let’s get this thing done.

I have no doubt Beck pulled in a much bigger crowd. The problem I have with the compare and contrast photos is that while they do provide a date, they do not provide a time. For the sake of clarity, they all should. For all I know the one taken at last Saturday’s rally could have been taken as it was breaking up. Good comparison photos would be ones taken at the halfway point of any rally.
…just like a fresh cow patty (and its ideas smell about the same).

Or did some agency really retask a satellite in order to gauge the size of the crowd yesterday?
That kind of dishonesty is the lefts bread and butter, make no mistake about it. If a any time during the Unifying Communist day event they had even remotely as many people there as Beck had at his rally every one of the Fifth Column Media’s alphabet outlets would have shown it, and every liberal blog would have pictures of it.
There is a reason that those images haven’t been seem, because the don’t exist and they don’t exist because the number of people wasn’t even close to those at Beck’s rally.
Bringing up the time of day that the pictures were taken is an utterly BS assertion.

Having travelled around the blogosphere this weekend, I am getting a little different perspective on the people who were in the crowd. Of course, we have the token moonbats, but I suspect that at least 1/2 of the folks there are pretty much just like you and me. They are working-class people who just want jobs and the ability to take care of their families. They have been roped into the REgressive hype and many of them totally brainwashed. If you were to meet them one-on-one, you would probably find that they want basically the same things we do. If you had a good solid union job with good pay and benefits, wouldn’t you fight to hold on to it?? I know I would! They don’t realize that they are being duped by the union leaders into believing that kind of job is sustainable.
It is the mafia-union leadership, the corrupt shills like Jackson and Sharpton, the communist-loving, America hating freaks like Harry Bellefonte, Ed Schultz, etc., the people who have arranged for this “rally” who are causing the problems.
I am hoping we won’t throw the babies out with the bath water! Clean up the unions (HUGE task, maybe impossible), stop giving any credibility to the raving lunatics amongst us, and maybe we can win some of these people back to the right side.
Actually the time of day would be important given the start/finish time of the rally and people either already departed or not yet arrived for the ‘heart’ of the rally.
That said, the pictures were taken at very close to the same time of day — note the length of the shadows — the ones from this last weekend are longer, but remember the sun is geting lower in the sky because we are entering the fall season.
Neither of those pictures is a satellite shot — the grazing angle is too low — they are more likely taken from the Washington Monument given the range/angle at which they were taken.
Does it really make any difference “Whose Dog is Bigger”? The idea is the issues supported.
I’ve seen a picture that shows considerably more people than the one shown in the compare and contrast 10/2/10 shot above; however, it’s also apparent that once they got everybody together, that they couldn’t keep them together. The rank-and-file attendee at this thing didn’t want to be there, and they skedaddled as soon as they got the chance.
The shot in the compare and contrast shot were the hard-core supporters, or those who were threatened with their livelihoods if they didn’t hang around. If someone in the media wanted to put together a good story, they’d do a compare and contrast, not so much on the size of the crowd, but of how respectable and respectful the 8/28 crowd was, and how disrespectful and reprehensible the 10/2 people were.
It’s also clear of which event attracted people who love America, and which one is out of the mainstream of American values and principles. It is all there for the American people to see–the choice of which America that they want. They can choose an America with a future of freedom and liberty for their progeny, or one that is a serfdom, with perpetual slavery.
I’m surprised it came out. Usually, somebody moves.

Apparently, the only thing these organizers wanted from this rally was to show that more poeple oppose Glen Beck’s ideas than support them. If they had more people at their rally, that would make that point.

Got ya, but some people, having seen a movie, believe you can take streaming video from space and from that discern not only what size underwear someone is wearing at the time, but also what their intentions are for the next 36 hours.
