Obama’s Post Mid-Term Election Strategy: Leave the Country

The most dangerous place to be standing just after the November election will be between President Obama and the nation’s emergency exit doorway:

US President Barack Obama is likely to arrive in India on November 5 instead of November 7 as originally scheduled. He will leave Washington DC on the night of November 4 soon after the mid-term Congressional election where many pundits are predicting severe reverses for the Democratic Party.

He will be away from the US for almost 12 days, one of the longest tours during his presidency, touching India, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea, before returning to Washington DC on November 14.

What do you want to bet the “hit the road” date gets moved forward a couple more days? All we’ll hear is Reggie Love saying, “on your mark, get set, polls are closing!” ZOOOoooom!

“Baghdad Nancy” predicted “great Democratic victory” on November 2nd, so you’d think Obama would want to hang around for the big celebration. What gives?

Update: In a related story, 11% of Obama voters in 2008 either don’t remember or don’t want to admit they voted for him. I believe the scientific term for buyers remorse leading to memory loss is “Scamnesia.”
