Obamacare Idealists Somehow Find Way to Be Even More Nauseating

Here’s a pro-Obamacare video made by Campus Progress (somebody had to make one, because hardly anybody in Congress who passed it will brag about it).
Apparently there are a lot of young people who don’t want to go back to the old health care system where private insurers could deny you coverage for a pre-existing condition known as “ugly.”
You can almost feel these freeloading brats and useless nimrods reaching into your back pocket and trying to swipe your wallet during the ad, can’t you?
If for some reason you can’t see the video, first of all, “congratulations” — but here’s the script in a nutshell: “When I get out of college I’m going to be kicked off mom and dad’s health plan so you have to pay for it! And if you don’t want to we won’t let you! Nyeh!”

Wow. I wish I had something of value to say to this, but I just don’t. So I won’t say anything.

What terrifies me is not that they want coverage (free of course) but they are probably going to graduate from college with the idea that they are ‘owed jobs, free lunch, free housing and freedom from ever serving in the armed forces. So very freaking sad..and scary!If it wouldn’t bring down the quality of the armed forces I would support the draft..

One of the more astounding facts about “Generation Ditz” (hey, I kinda like that)…. is that they actually believe previous generations had it easier than them.
Congress does not cover s*it. And they can’t create anything unless it’s trouble for the working man; they certainly can’t create jobs. And come Nov 2 many in Congress will be on the unemployment line with the rest of you losers.
and by the way, if you find out yiou have a serious diseases and you have no covereage, do you really expect to be able to go buy insurance then, even with your pre-existing condition? That wouldn’t be “insurance” now would it? That would be charity.

If it was that would mean that every nimrod and his brother has the right to force doctors to work on them. That’s not insurance, nimrods, it’s endentured servitude.

You don’t even have to go that far. Just send them out there on the battlefield just the way they are and tell the enemy that this is the new improved American Army. The enemy would die laughing (or feel sooo sorry for us that they wouldn’t even bother anymore).

I picture the planning meeting going something like this:
I’m happy that my cancer was discovered & surgery performed now, rather than after Obamacare kicked in. At 68, my surgery probably would have been categorized as not cost effective & I’d be allowed to die. As it is, the stage 1 cancer was fully contained with no evidence of spreading to lymph nodes or anywhere else. No chemo or radiation needed, just an x-ray every 4 months & an annual cat scan. If Obama won’t allow those, maybe I can pay for them myself. If not, I’ll skip them & hope for the best.
Obamacare isn’t fair to orphans. Whose parents are supposed to insure them until they are 26?
Obamacare also isn’t fair to 27-year-olds who still live in their parents’ basements. To dry their tears, democrats will want to raise the age to 30, then 40. Anyone opposed will be labeled heartless conservatives who hate 40-year-old children.
Eventually, we will all be insured on our parents’ medicare policies. Then democrats will have achieved a single-payer system run by the government, which has been their goal from the beginning.
Aren’t these people embarrassed to be thought of as being CHILDREN until age 26?!?!

Insurers already refuse to cover individuals for the pre-existing condition known as ‘ugly’. To my knowledge at least, elective plastic surgery is not covered. In other words, if you don’t like the way your nose looks or you have too many moles on your face, tough luck, pay out of pocket.
One thing that I think is covered in some countries though (don’t know about America) is SRS – sexual reassignment surgery. I guess if you think your repoductive organ is ‘ugly’, you can have that changed.
Let’s see, by the time I was 26, I had been in College, been in the Navy, gotten a job in the civilian world, and had a kid.

This makes me weep for America’s future (or lack thereof). The way things are going, we’ll be a province of China before long. Most likely with nary a shot fired.

In Canada, the government forces us to pay taxes toward health care and then, by way of rationing services, refuses us access to timely and adequate care without any other option as an outlet.
Just to let everyone know, per capita, our government spends $4000 per year and there are millions of Canadians who are without a family doctor, who wait for ages for diagnostic testing and specialist care.
I have said this before and I will say it again – Canada is a country where prostitution and gambling are legal and acceptable yet paying for private care is illegal and considered immoral.

What ObummerCare will do is take $30 from you, keep $25 for its’ administrative costs, and give $5 to the doctor to pay for your $20 worth of medical needs.

When I graduated from college, we were just coming out of the early ’90s recession. I was covered under Champus (Dad is retired Army) until the end of May when I graduated at age 22. I got a part time job until I could find a “real” job. At the time, my company didn’t offer health insurance to part time workers, so I was without health insurance until I got a full time job with benefits. My younger sister was without insurance even longer after she graduated. I have numerous health issues and did come down with walking pneumonia while I was not covered (my sister was more fortunate in that she hardly ever gets sick). Both my sister and I managed to survive, so my sympathy for these freeloaders is lacking.
There are painted yellow bootprints on the tarmac at Parris Island, South Carolina, with United States Marine Corps drill instructors salivating at the thought of giving these ungrateful little pricks health coverage.
It’s all about what you are willing to give up to get what you want!
Who the heck will even want to hire them?
For as stupid as these sniveling brats are, they’ll get drafted alright because they will be unable to get a real job.

What these little frackwits don’t understand that under Obamacare they will no longer be allowed to buy cheap no-frills health care through their universities (assuming they are students).
Why? Because O’care needs every nickel of their health care dollar to pay for those who essentially pay nothing, AND who use many more services than your basic healthy 25-year-old.
As for Mom and Dad picking up their care up to 26, I’ve got a 23 1/2-year-old son who will stay on our plan, but it will cost us an extra $500 a year over what we paid for him when he was under 23.

But if you know that you have raised a real MAN, it would be perfectly appropriate for you to ask your son to pay for his share of the family health plan.
It would help these young ADULTS to learn a valuable lesson about economics in the real world!
And it might encourage these young Adults to vote more thoughtfully in the future, which would help us all!

At some point in my too long college career (undergrad, law school, one year of grad school) I was no longer eligible for my dad’s health insurance. What did I do? I bought a very cheap policy to cover accidents and major things and when I needed something in the ordinary, I stood on line at the school’s free clinic. That was not very often as I was 24 and healthy, but it happened occasionally.
Then I went out and got a job.
The only reason these losers are angry and disappointed with Obama is that he and the Marxist Dems have not given them more of the working man/woman’s property.
