Democrat Chicken Dance Award of the Day: Russ Carnahan
Last week, I launched the Chicken Dance Watch to keep track of endangered Democrats avoiding debates with their GOP challengers.
Today, the award goes to Democrat Rep. Russ Carnahan of Missouris. Instead of leaving just an empty chair, he sent…a DVD.
Missouri Republican News is reporting that Russ Carnahan (D-MO) was a no show at a candidate forum the other night:
Citizens of Ste. Genevieve gathered last evening to hear from the candidates wanting to represent them. As usual there was an empty seat where Congressman Carnahan should have been. The candidate forum, set up months ago by the local paper, was a timely chance to speak about the issues and ask for the support of the voters.
Instead of facing constituents Congressman Carnahan sent a canned speech filled with Pelosi talking points that he copied on a DVD and he sent to the paper in his place. He has been absent in his service and seems even in his campaign too.
Meanwhile Ed Martin addressed the crowd and personally asked for their support. He addressed their concerns and questions acting as a true representative should.
Bok, bok, bok, bok.

That, almost as much as sending a cardboard cut-out of himself, is like hanging a “kick me” sign on his back.
They should have just put the DVD disc on the chair and asked it questions.

Ed Martin could have made hay out of this. He could have had a cardboard cutout of Carnahan at the forum and each time a constituent asked a question, field it to the cutout before answering the question.
Not to change the subject, but for all of the people who were all over the “The Wife Did It” meme, this link’s for you. I’m sure Michelle will be posting this update any time now…… Does this mean the wife didn’t do it? Nope, but it sure doesn’t support the theory that she did.
I think the Republican candidates need to start taking those rubber chickens with them to the debates. If the democrat doesn’t show, then put the chicken on the democrat’s chair. Make it a point that when questions are asked, to respond with, “Well, aside from the clucking noises from my opponent…”

DVD: aren’t those made by the ChiComs? I thought the Cheap bastages of the Left were AGAINST sending jobs overseas. Obviously Democrat Chicken Dance Award of the Day winner/whiner Russ Carnahan is a paid agent of the ChiComs and accepts secret foreign campaign money. Can you prove otherwise?

In honor of the season, wouldn’t it have been great to have “Graysoned” the DVD, and then use the “Graysoned” DVD respond to various questions at the candidate’s forum?
Neither of the Carnahan 2nd generation putz’s like a forum where they might get asked an embarrassing question. KMOX’s mark Reardonto has consistently ridiculed this jerk’s sister who is running for Senator to appear on his show, but she refuses. The Carnahan family is the ultimate democrat name recognition do nothing group. The father even died to get his wife appointed Senator, but of course that took the votes of a majority of Missourians to vote a dead guy to be our next Senator. One for the books!
Ya know, this just proves that all the mexicans want to do is come over for a job doing what the Americans won’t do…. and they are right. Who in their right mind would want to go around killing American citizens?

There’s a common thread between Carnahan and Evita Murkowski; they’re both part of political families who think they’re entitled to their seats, democracy be darned. I look forward to both of them meeting the same fate on 11/2.
