When S.E. Cupp appeared on the Joy Behar Show, Behar went off on a dingbat rant against Michele Bachmann. Why? Because Michele Bachmann is anti-child.

Transcript from Newsbusters:

BEHAR: Don’t you think it shows their true colors – these mama grizzlies so-called? I mean she is against a federal program to help poor kids get health insurance, Michele Bachmann. She is no mama grizzly. She is against children. Who is she fooling?

CUPP: That’s a little – I think that’s a generalization. Michele Bachmann –

BEHAR: That is a fact.

CUPP: I think is a woman to admire. I admire her, I know her well. She is I think an advocate for her state, for women, for men, for all different types of people. And the fact –

BEHAR: She is against children, the federal program helped at aiding income kids get health insurance.

CUPP: The fact that she is a conservative, the fact that she does not support gay marriage does not make her anti-woman.

BEHAR: No, but don’t call yourself a mama grizzly when you’re against children.

CUPP: She is not against children, Joy.

BEHAR: Yes she is.

CUPP: She is absolutely not against children. She has children. She stands up for children –

BEHAR: I’m sure they all have health insurance all her children.

CUPP: She thinks policy should – you can disagree with her politics, joy, but let’s not paint her as anti-woman. This is a mistake.

BEHAR: Anti-children. But she’s anti-children.

Okay, now that we’ve established that Behar — the host who thinks abortion is okay because the kid could grow up to be a rapist pedophile and that the real immorality of abortion is the profits — loves children and Michele Bachmann hates them, let’s move on to more about Bachmann.

In 2009, the Guardian published an article about the “anti-children” Bachmann with a fact that Behar would rather ignore:

She was born in Iowa and then moved to Minnesota. When her parents divorced, her mother was left to fend for herself. Bachmann has known what it means to scrimp and save to get by. But she made a success of herself. She and her husband now run a small business in mental health and she is the mother of five children. She has also given foster care to a staggering 23 kids.

Bachmann could have provided foster care to a million kids and it wouldn’t matter. What somehow makes Bachmann anti-children is that she’s opposed to creating generations upon generations of government dependent sucklings saddled with multiple lifetimes of insurmountable debt. If you ask me, that’s anti-children.

Too bad Michele Bachmann can’t provide foster care to Joy Behar’s brain.

Update: Behar Classic flashback — In 2007 Joy offered her brilliant take on why Michelle Malkin was focusing more on opposing middle-class entitlement expansion (SCHIP, the same issues Behar attacked Bachmann over) than stopping the Iraq war: “Because she’s a selfish bitch, probably.” The genius switch is permanently stuck in the “off” position.

Update II: It’s a Joy Behar “twofer Thursday” — not that you couldn’t have done without it. Bill O’Reilly was on The View, and Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walked out after a heated exchange with O’Reilly about the ground zero mosque. I’d be more likely to watch that show with those two gone, but I’m sure they’ll be back so I’m not willing to risk it.
