Election Hail Mary: Obama Finally Discovers ‘By Their Creator’

On the campaign trail in the past few weeks, whenever President Obama quoted (paraphrased is more like it) from the Declaration of Independence, he omitted “by their creator” as being the source that endows us with our unalienable rights. This left the onlooker free to decide for him or herself who exactly endows them their rights — be it a tree, a god, 1972 Buick Skylark, or most importantly, an all-knowing, all caring, all-giving federal government.

However, similar to the old saying “there are no atheists in foxholes,” being on the verge of an election slaughter has its way of getting politicians to re-focus on the Creator:

Now, just a few days later, Obama is still on the trail, but he has changed his speech. At rallies in California and Nevada Friday, he included “Creator” in his remarks on the Declaration. “They said in their Declaration, ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal,’” Obama said at a rally at the University of Southern California, “‘that we are all endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’” Later, at a Las Vegas rally for Sen. Harry Reid, Obama said, “‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.’”

Suddenly, the “Creator” has appeared in the president’s speeches. And each time he discussed the Declaration, “Creator” included, his quotations were met with enthusiastic applause. Barack Obama has learned that Americans like to be reminded of their founding documents — even the passage that explains the ultimate source of those inalienable rights.

It’s not yet clear if Obama intentionally decided to include “by their Creator,” if the guy who types the words into the teleprompter decided it would be a good idea, or if the inclusion is a desperate attempt by the president to distance Democrats from MSNBC with the midterm elections just over a week away.

If things on November 2nd go as badly for Democrats as it appears they might, time will tell if “by their Creator” will remain intact, or dismissed like a Slurpee-sippin’ wingnut who drove the car into the ditch.

    This week, reports of widespread voter fraud began to surface in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, home to Progressive Caucus Co-Chair Raul Grijalva and his political machine. Extremist SEIU activists–hiding under the auspices of a recently created Arizona PAC–have been canvassing the district, attempting to put thousands of ineligible voters on the roles before election day.

    Now there’s confirmation from the Assistant Leader of the Democratic Caucus in the Arizona House of Representatives. On a KPNX-12 TV roundtable, Krysten Sinema (D-LD 15) says, “I do think he (Grijalva) will be able to pull it out though with his, you know, ‘notorious’ political machine.”

    Even a district with a 2-1 Democratic voter advantage isn’t enough for these shady activists. Raul Grijalva’s extremist policies, his disregard for the voters in district 7, and his call for a boycott of Arizona have made his re-election bid unexpectedly challenging. These activists will stop at nothing to keep their meal ticket safely doodling away taxpayer dollars in the halls of congress.

    Now we know what stop at nothing really means. Welcome to the big leagues, Arizona, Grijalva’s minions are trying to throw you a spitball.

    We are dealing with widespread corruption and fraud perpetrated by the progressives, who are slimy weasels. They will stop at nothing to keep their power. We have to fight this with everything we have! They fight dirty. We have to do the same.

    There are SO MANY very very close races going on! After seeing what Al Franken’s goons did to steal the election here in Minnesota, I know what dirty tricks look like. If they start seeing ballots show up in people’s trunks, and they ALLOW THEM TO BE COUNTED, you can be sure there is something amiss.

    I’m not sure how to combat this. I do believe the ONLY way the progressives will keep Congress is by cheating. The American People do not want them in Congress. If they win, it will be by cheating.

    I read the article in your link. It talks about how the populace will be totally inconvenienced while they are there…the traffic, the security, etc. Reminded me of what my husband, daughter and grandson are enduring right now, as we speak! We have season tickets to the Minnesota Gopher football games. There is a home game today at 11:00. My husband is taking our daughter and her 6 year old son to the game. They are there now.

    Some of you may know that Obama is here in Minnesota today. Did you know that he is on the U of M Campus? Did you know that he is just a few blocks from the football stadium? Yes, he is “inconveniencing” thousands of football fans so he can rally the students to vote for Mark Dayton, the most insane candidate for Governor we have ever had! I’m sure he will put in a few jabs about Michele Bachmann while he is here. We are fortunate that we have a permanent parking space for the season, otherwise, forget about being able to park! I imagine the van will be searched. I imagine the traffic jam after the game will be horrendous.

    Seems that Barack and Co. don’t care about the peons and how much they have to put up with. He is above all that. I really loathe and despise him and everything he stands for.

This is a matter of record. Not only did an identical bill pass Congress without a single dissenting vote, the explanation Obama has offered for years to defend these votes has been exposed as a lie.     You would never look at any man-made item of any complexity (from a watch to an IPhone to a car), deny that it had a creator, and try to explain how it came to be from a series of random mutations and natural selection.

    Natural selection can explain a loss of genetic information (for example, white moths on black trees get eaten while black moths on black trees survive, so less of the DNA for white moths survives). This is commonly referred to as “micro-evolution”.

    But natural selection cannot explain a gain in genetic information (a prerequisite to the “evolution” of a more complex species from a less complex species). This is commonly referred to as “macro-evolution”.

    Micro-evolution, the loss of genetic information, does occur and is consistent with the 2nd law of thermodynamics.

    That’s not the worst of it. An American Expat in Southeast Asia sounded the alarm way back in August 2007 with this:

    When I first saw the recently released Indonesian translation of Barack Obama’s book “The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming The American Dream”, over here in Southeast Asia I was completely taken aback not only by the violent imagery in new title of the book, “Menerjang Harapan: Dari Jakarta Menuju Gedung Putih”, but by the fact that it was not really a translation at all, but rather a completely different title than the original book.

    The problem with direct translations is that often times they never make sense. The words “menerjang” (assault or attack) and “harapan” (hope or expectation) make sense when used separately, but used together, the term “menerjang harapan” makes no sense in Indonesian. But while the term makes no sense, it does however present a mental picture to the native Indonesian speaker, the imagery of a “hopeful assault” a “struggle for victory” or to put it more bluntly, a “jihad”, or as the Indonesians see it, Obama’s “jihad” for the Whitehouse. For the native Indonesian speaker, this figurative language creates a mental image whereas the translation of the book’s title can actually come to mean “Jihad: From Jakarta To The Whitehouse”.

    Many of Obama’s earliest memories are of growing up in Indonesia, not in the United States. He speaks Bahasa Indonesia. He knows that “his” book was published with a different title, and a different meaning, when it was published in Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation.

    He’s not just an outsider who feels closer ties to Indonesia and Kenya than he does to the U.S.A., he sees the U.S.A. as an “imperialist” “oppressor” of other nations. He is on a jihad to “fundamentally transform” this country and bring “an Empire to its knees”.

    But my journey is part of a larger journey – one shared by all who’ve ever sought to apply the values of their faith to our society.
