What not to wear to the polls in Illinois: Pink Reagan t-shirt

A reader in Illinois e-mailed this afternoon:

This morning, at my local polling place, I was asked to cover up my shirt because it was “sort of electioneering”. I wore a pink t-shirt with a photo of Ronald Reagan that read “Celebrating 100 Years” for the Reagan centennial. I have attached the image that was on my shirt.
