Project Valour-IT Update: Closing in on the Goal!
**Written by Doug Powers
On Thursday we posted all about the Project Valour-IT fundraiser. Project Valour-IT helps provide voice-controlled/adaptive laptop computers and other technology to support Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines recovering from hand wounds and other severe injuries.
Again this year we’re proud to be a part of Team Marine. Since we announced the fundraiser here on Thursday, many of you responded generously. As you can see below, we’re getting closer to the goal every day.
The fundraiser ends on Veterans Day, November 11th, and as you can see, the goal is well within reach and hopefully we can even go well over.
Click here to learn more, or click on the “donate” button below to contribute to help the men and women who make great sacrifices for our country and freedom. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thanks again for any help you can provide!

I know it’s not much, but when I was at the store the other day I saw a soldier in fatigues coming towards the door with 2 cups of coffee in his hands. I waited for him and held the door for him and after he thanked me, I thanked him for his service to our country. I think I made his day!
I think so too. The “little things” also mean a lot!
when I posted Valour IT-ARMY-Thurs.Oct 28-Army was moving ahead-
Checked the site this week-end- and the Marines were ahead!!Now I know why!
