Know Your Failure: From Speaker Pelosi to Weaker Pelosi
I joked last week after she announced her bid for Minority Leader that Speaker Pelosi needed to change her Twitter account name to Weaker Pelosi.
Ask and ye shall receive! An enterprising person on Twitter snapped up @WeakerPelosi and now publishes satirical tweets in the name of the Dethroned One.
There certainly is a wealth of real-life joke fodder.
The New York Times editorialized this morning against Pelosi’s bid, once again regurgitating the Team Obama delusion that the Dems’ failure was a failure of communication:
If Ms. Pelosi had been a more persuasive communicator, she could have batted away the ludicrous caricature of her painted by Republicans across the country as some kind of fur-hatted commissar jamming her diktats down the public’s throat. Both Ms. Pelosi and Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader, are inside players who seem to visibly shrink on camera when defending their policies, rarely connecting with the skeptical independent voters who raged so loudly on Tuesday.
With President Obama proving to be a surprisingly diffident salesman of his own work, Congressional Democrats need a new champion to stand against a tightly disciplined Republican insurgency.
Other Democrats who oppose Pelosi’s attempt to cling to power are slightly more in touch with reality. In an open letter, they reportedly implore her to step aside because she will scare away good prospective candidates. Again, they blame the Republicans for “demonizing” Pelosi, rather than her own mouth and actions. But hey, it’s a start.

FOX has obtained a letter being penned by defeated House Democrats that implores House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to step aside.
The letter is now circulating Capitol Hill and has not yet been sent to the Speaker. FOX has obtained draft language of the letter.
In the draft of the letter, the members say that they were “victimized by a national wave of resentment toward Democrats, a wave that ensnared you along with us.”
The letter goes on to say “Madam Speaker, fairly or unfairly, Republicans made you the face of the resentment and disagreement in our races. While we commend your years of service to our party and your leadership through many tough times, we respectfully ask that you step aside as the top Democrat in the House.”
The letter says that the defeated members “fear that Republicans will further demonize you, and in so doing, they will scare potential candidates out. The prospect of having to run against their own party leadership, in addition to their Republican opponent is simply too daunting.”
The lawmakers also say that “one mark of a strong leader is the ability to discern when it is time to pass the baton” and calls this a “dark hour.”

Boehner’s first act as Speaker should be to physically go to Andrews AFB and in a very public ceremony return San Fran Nan’s personal Air Force transport back to the Air Force.

I’d like to be able to laugh at this woman, but I can only cry at all the damage she has done to our country and our beloved Constitution.
All you have to do is change “Republican” to Democrat” and Joe Miller, Sharon Angle, Christine O’Donnell could have written this letter to McConnell, Rove and the rest of the GOP leadership.
Michelle, keep doing what you’re doing. I admire how hard you work for the truth!

Nancy comes from the land of creative visualization. If she thinks is true, then it will be true. She has come so close to achieving the permanent take over of this country. She thinks she can turn this defeat around the way she shoved bhocare through. She believes in her raw thug power to get this back on track. At some point she will be responsible for her own demise because she is corrupt to the core.
Fairly or unfairly? Find somebody in the House that more perfectly represents what’s wrong with the Democratic Party. Dems, please leave Pelosi in place. She’ll be great in 2012.
Moral of the story: Lie with more passion and conviction. Put some heart into it.
Pelosi knew what she was doing. She took a chance that they could pull it off but also knew that she would be willing to lose the House and Senate as long as they passed a national health care bill.
They have been trying for 40 + years to do so and having the House, Senate and White House provided them the perfect opportunity to get it done. They had to lie cheat and steal to do it but they did it. It is a horrible bill passed by a horrible process but the ends justify the means to people like Pelosi.
I am also sure she thought that the MSM would lay some covering fire during these elections so that the damage would be limited. That was her miscalculation. They did manage to hold on to the Senate so they still have some saving grace for their actions.
They covered the leaders butts and left everyone else out to dry but those suckers still think Pelosi was in the same boat with them. She wasn’t. She was in the QE2 while she put them in the Titanic. Harry had to get in the lifeboat though. He and his union thugs had to throw all the other occupants out of the lifeboat to save his hide.
Pelosi has been a true leader. She’ll move the Dems forward. As Michael Barone noted, she goes “faster on those stiletto heels than other people can go on Hush Puppies.”
Full steam ahead!
A list of all her lies would be fodder along with the rest of the lies by the dhims.
Or until sensible redistricting can be done to rid states, especially the likes of California, of districts especially designed to concentrate voters of a particular political ilk in order to protect and return incumbants to office, even dead ones.

Speaker Botox-A-Lot did lead a large number of Democrats off the edge; being the snake she is she refused to jump too. If you get the chance go to Buffalo Jump Montana. When the guide talks of scavengers and carrion crows think Pelosi.
Actually, the majority of her districts’ voters refused to make her jump.
Her 8 percent approval rating among independent voters should help seal another victory in 2012.

Now that the “blue dogs” have been purged from the Democratic party, those left are more liberal and more supportive of Pelosi than ever.
It’s kinda like what happened to the GOP when so many of us conservatives left the party and re-registered as unaffiliated independents. The pollsters kept reporting that registered Republicans are getting more and more moderate. Yeah sure, now that Republican registrations have been cut by almost half, all they have left are the nose-holders who would vote Republican even if Obama or Pelosi was the GOP nominee.
That is such a harsh indictment of Republicans! I doubt anyone with an R could be so callous!
I can imagine, if the nose-holders keeled over for lack of air, then their names might be used by the always quick to manipulate Democrats in voting for an Obama or a Pelosi. The Democrats have been known to harvest cemetery IDs during elections.

You just know if the parties were reversed, the left would be claiming the plane was once again being rightfully returned to service bringing wounded soldiers home. Or bringing starving refugee orphans to the US so they can once again eat.

A party is in order.
Marxists who hate the US as a country with a representative (indiect) democracy operating under a Constitution mainly written by dead white men, ie, a Republic, with a generally capitalist economic system do have something to be proud of.
They have done more damage in their four years running the House than any foreign enemy could have done, although I suspect many were either willing or unwitting agents of the former USSR, and the ship of state may have taken on enough water that it will be difficult to save.
They have gotten a good start on turning the US into a nation on permanent decline, like the UK, and they will celebrate that achievement.
