The president, on the way back from the NATO summit in Portugal, seems in no particular hurry to return to Slurpeeland.

Maybe Obama just wanted to return Hugo’s book and apologize for making notes in the margin.
Sean Penn is most likely on his way to Venezuela as we speak just in case this is no joke.

speaking of Sean Penn and jokes… Did you hear the one about the flaming-lib actor playing the lying p.o.s. ambassador?

Obama allowed Dannny Ortega to savagely attack the United States in front of Obama and Obama said not one word in defense of the United States. Instead, Obama said only that “I’m glad President Ortega didn’t blame me for things that happened when I was six years old”. Implicit in the Obama statement was his agreement with Ortega about Ortega’s views of the United States. The only thing that Obama wanted to make clear was that he (Obama) was only six years old when the US did all these colonialist misdeeds. Obama gave a warm and hearty greeting to Chavez. Contrast that with Obama’s refusal to be photographed with the Prime Minister of Israel and his stalking out of his meeting with Bibi Netanyahu, saying Netanyahu could meet instead with Obama’s underlings as Bibi was unworthy of sitting in the same room at the Deity known as Obama.
Says Marc, and he allowed the Mexican President to attack Arizona.
I would say Obama would be much more comfortable hobnobbing with tyrants and spend a second at a Tea Party. So you can see who his true enemies are.

Let us pray that the SCOTUS finally grows a pair and does it’s job on 11-23-2010, which is to finally take an eligibility case on it’s merits and make a decision on natural born citizen. If they don’t, and LTC Terry Lakin is sentenced to prison for trying to uphold his oath to the Constitution, there will never have been a worse travesty of justice.
That the media, including the so-called “conservative” media, refuses to report on any of this in a “fair and balanced” way, or in any way for that matter , just redefines the death of journalism that occured in 2008 and continues to this day.
This sounds like a test to see what the fallout would be if he actually went.

What a tasteless, classless statement for the President of the United States to make! I don’t care how jet-lagged he was. That is the kind of “joke” a junior high schooler would make, not the man who has his big Communist finger on the red button. I am physicall ill hearing about such stupid, childish kidding! Or was he kidding? One never knows with this POS. How did we end up with such a fool??? I don’t wish harm to come to him, or to Biden. But a thought crossed my mind…if, God forbid, something DID happen to both of them, after January 3rd, we would have President John Boehner, NOT Nan Pelosi. That does give me some comfort!

I think The One took a clumsy jab at Chavez for the ribbing he took over the book. At last year’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner he likened Chavez’s book gift to a pirate giving him a copy of Peter Pan. Chevez and Russia have been very chummy of late. Now The One is getting military help/deals from Russia through the NATO summit.
Obama feels most at home in Muslim countries. Consider that his first major foreign trip as president was to Egypt where he essentially apologized to the Muslim world for what what Muslims believe to be centuries of injustice at the hands of the Christian West. Obama accepts the Muslim view of centuries of opression of Muslims by the Europeans and the West in general. Obama’s other favorite trip was his trip to Indonesia. Contrast that with his much publicized gesture of removing a bust of Sir Winston Churchill from the oval office and telling the British to take it back and put it where the sun don’t shine.
Then consider that he refused to be photographed with the Prime Minister of Israel and walked out of his meeting with Netanyahu and publicly castigated Netanyahu.
Obama managed, with the media’s help, to tone down his love of Islamic countries when he was campaigning. Once in office Obama showed his true colors and they are not red white and blue. Sadly, closer to green.
