Eric Holder Focuses on Important Legal Challenge: The 2022 World Cup

Prosecuting terrorists (sorry, “man-caused disaster suspects”) and investigating the WikiLeaks fiasco will have to wait, because the chief of the US Justice Department has more immediate priorities:

null

One thing’s for certain: He can’t do much worse than his boss did in trying to secure the 2016 Olympics in Chicago.

The AP confirms Holder’s mission to ensure that soccer remains more popular in the US than the Obama administration:

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder will join former President Bill Clinton and Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman on Wednesday at the final presentation to FIFA’s executive committee of the U.S. bid to host the 2022 World Cup.

Holder also will meet with executive committee members, who will vote the following day.

Holder is expected to make the offer more attractive by personally guaranteeing to the FIFA committee that any red-carded player will receive a hearing in civil court and not be subjected to a military soccer tribunal.

    It is NOT football.

    OK, I finally get it.

All this time I thought Obama and his cronies were trying to destroy this country’s economic system because they hate that it was founded by white men who created a system that ended up making the country the greatest the world has ever seen.

No, that’s not it at all.

What’s really happening is that they are trying to destroy the country’s economic system because it creates wealth so we can afford to play sports like football, hockey, and golf — sports that require fancy equipment that people in poor countries can’t afford. Most of the countries in the world are poor, but all it takes to play a soccer game is an open field and a rubber ball, so almost every country in the world plays soccer. There are many poor countries who have better soccer teams than the US. So if we become poor, Holder thinks our soccer team will improve so much that maybe by 2022 we’ll have a chance to win the World Cup and wouldn’t it be wonderful if that happened right here on a field of our own.

Forget it, Holder. If we get that poor, real Americans will go back to playing stickball in the streets. I’ll know this country is lost forever if we ever contend for a World Cup.

this will be just in time: by 2022, if everything goes according to Ear Leader’s plan, the US will be a broken down, destitute borderline Third World hellhole that will desperately need the billions in dollars of graft so the ruling regime can retire to somewhere else to live in comfort.

Why shouldn’t the attorney general be soliciting for the world cup rather than prosecuting crime? After all, NASA’s chief mission is now outreach to Muslims, and DHS is going after dangerous music sharing websites.

You are so right…this has nothing to do with his job. On the other hand, he is out of the country. That is a good thing. Now, if we get the World Cup…they’d better leave those horns out! They sound like a hoard of bees buzzing around Obama’s head!

Sounds duller than watching grandpas playing shuffleboard in Miami. Leave it to this president to want to bring 100s of thousands of the world’s oppressed to America so they can overstay their visas and become Auntie Zuni or whatever her name is, and go onto our welfare roles becoming good democrat voters.

Could be. But when have you seen this administration be that clever? Usually, Obama’s failed socialist policies are right out front for all to see.

It could also be that Holder is there for both the world cup and to get Assmange. Which one do you think will be successful?
