Homeland Security Takes a Day Off

On ABC’s World News Tonight, Diane Sawyer talked with the Obama Administration’s national security team, including Janet “Swifty” Napolitano. The topic of discussion concerned possible terrorist attacks on or around Christmas (if you’ll forgive the expression).
I’ll sleep better tonight, because Napalitano reminded viewers that “thousands of people are working 24/7, 364 days a year to keep the American people safe.”
What’s the one day the DHS won’t be working? Napolitano’s not making it that easy for would-be man-caused disaster initiators — she’s keeping them guessing.
Fear not, however — If the DHS takes a day off, America won’t be left completely unguarded. Why do you think J-Nap’s been recruiting Walmart shoppers?
