The anchor who once shouted that he “wished he brought a gun to work” after his Magic Screen malfunctioned (h/t Allahpundit), and who works for the network that made “Crossfire” famous (see Doug Powers for an iconic screenshot), is now interrupting his show for real-time p.c. language self-policing of guests who use the term “crosshairs:”

Idiocracy: The new normal.

Or rather, the old normal — only super-sized now and wrapped in a shiny new mantle of “civility.”
