Debbie Wasserman Schultz to Head DNC

By Doug Powers  •  April 6, 2011 10:58 AM

**Written by Doug Powers

I didn’t believe it when I heard that the Democrats chose an anti gun control pro-lifer who’s opposed to the health care law to be the next head of the DNC, and sure enough, my disbelief has been totally confirmed:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) will be the next head of the Democratic National Committee.

The four-term lawmaker will succeed former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, who announced his candidacy for retiring Sen. Jim Webb’s (D-Va.) seat earlier in the day.

Vice President Biden made the announcement in an email to supporters on Tuesday.

“In selecting Debbie to lead our party, President Obama noted her tenacity, her strength, her fighting spirit and her ability to overcome adversity. President Obama expressed great admiration for her as a leader, and he was honored that she accepted this important challenge on behalf of the Democratic Party,” he wrote.

Wasserman Schultz, who was a Hillary Clinton national co-chair in 2008, is a liberal House member who believes the term “Obamacare” is akin to congressional blasphemy.

She won’t be giving up her congressional seat, however. The last person to serve in Congress and as head of the DNC concurrently was former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CounTrywide).

What is it with the Democrat Party’s love affair with smarmy, acerbic, and abrasive, holier-than-thou women in their party? Can it be that they are rightfully portrayed as having bigger “stones” than the men in their party? Or is it something else? I think there’s more to this selection than meets the eye.

Apparently, the Dem’s don’t feel they have a need for a pragmatic person leading…no, they go for leadership that will cause the most disruption, and division possible. That pretty much proves that the Democrat Party is no longer comprised of the “moderate” voices that were prevalent as little as 60 years ago. They are now openly courting militantly aggressive anarchists, revolutionaries, and radicals. These people will be the spark that the left needs to “set it off!”

The Neo-socialist Party of Former American Democrats IS the party of the extreme, backed and bankrolled by New World Order types, like George “I Hate the Jew in Me” Soros, and the myriad of worldwide Communist/Marxist/Socialist/Islamic unions, whose unified goal is world conquest, through “cleansing.”

The lines in the sand can be no clearer than they are right now.

The DNC is composed of the chairs and vice-chairs of each state Democratic Party Committee, two hundred members apportioned among the states based on population and generally elected either on the ballot by primary voters or by the State Democratic Party Committee, a number of elected officials serving in an ex-officio capacity, and a variety of representatives of major Democratic Party constituencies.

Per wiki, she is elected so something is not clear.

If being in congress is so easy that these people have time to work two jobs, then I say we should stop paying them at all and let them work a second job for their support. These people have time to work two jobs, rarely want to retire, fly all over the country, and even run for president while in Congress. It seems to me that we are paying them too much for a job that is not demanding enough. What a sweet gig!

But useful idiots will argue that we have to pay enough to attract quality candidates. If paying six figures attacts the quality we have now, then I’m ready for a volunteer Congress. The only way the quality of Congress could drop further would be to add more democrats, and high pay only attracts more of them.

It may not be my place to say, but I consider many of these part of “The Lost Generation of Jews”. I’ve worked w/ lots of them over the years. They’re Jewish by ‘birth’ but in many cases, hardly in practice. Near as I can figure, they looked around campus in the 60′s and 70′s and saw what ‘fun’ all the other kids were having and felt left out?

Wound up rejecting everything both bad AND good their own parents represented. Most became completely miserable when the money we were making didn’t fill the void and came to regret it. IMHO.
