It should be mentioned that the fifth anniversary of RomneyCare was celebrated by Democrats on Tuesday — Republicans, not so much. But that’s the whole point.

In Massachusetts, Dems even made this ad thanking Mitt Romney:

Does Obamacare cover the surgical removal of tongue from cheek?

New Hampshire Democrats piled on as well:

“Without Romney, it’s hard to see how President Obama would have been able to provide quality, affordable health care for every American,” the New Hampshire Democratic Party said in a statement released Monday that also called for supporters to blast Romney’s Twitter account and thank him “for providing the critical momentum necessary to get President Obama’s vision of health reform through Congress and signed into law.”

Scott Brown voted for Romney’s health care plan as a state senator, so he got his share of thank-yous today too.

The Obamacare law now only has about 35 percent support according to a new AP poll, so the Dems are obviously more than willing to be bipartisan when it comes to scapegoats for their big f-in deal. If there were fewer goats to scape among the likely GOP contenders, I’d be a little more confident heading toward November of 2012.
