All About Obama: Who’s politicizing bin Laden kill?

Leftists are swarming Twitter to chastise any conservatives who dare give any credit to President Bush for his resolve and role in leading the post-9/11 counterrorism/national security response to the worst attack on American soil.

Meanwhile, Democrat hacks are burning the midnight oil making this All About Obama.

It begins: “New DNC chief: Obama deserves credit for bin Laden killing.”

A Huffington Post reporter gloats: “Chants of ‘four more years!’ in front of WH.”

College kids in front of the White House are chanting “Yes We Can!” according to a beaming CNN reporter.

Spotted at the White House gathering: “Latinos for Obama” sign.

And Democrat Rep. Gary Ackerman doesn’t waste a second taking a swipe at President Bush:

So much for that we-are-one unity President Obama invoked earlier tonight, eh?

Ahem. Via Bill Dedman, much of the intelligence gathered that led to discovering bin Laden was developed by the detainees detained under the Bush administration at facilities like the one Obama wanted to shut down. For the record:

It started with a courier’s name.

Senior White House officials said early Monday that the trail that led to Osama bin Laden began before 9/11, before the terror attacks that brought bin Laden to prominence. The trail warmed up last fall, when it discovered an elaborate compound in Pakistan.

“From the time that we first recognized bin Laden as a threat, the U.S. gathered information on people in bin Laden’s circle, including his personal couriers,” a senior official in the Obama administration said in a background briefing from the White House.

After the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, “detainees gave us information on couriers. One courier in particular had our constant attention. Detainees gave us his nom de guerre, his pseudonym, and also identified this man as one of the few couriers trusted by bin Laden.”

In 2007, the U.S. learned the man’s name.

In 2009, “we identified areas in Pakistan where the courier and his brother operated. They were very careful, reinforcing belief we were on the right track.”

In August 2010, “we found their home in Abbottabad,” in an isolated area.

    That is exactly what Rush said this a.m. He said that he commended Obama for keeping in place the Bush/Cheney policies, put in place after 9/11 to fight the War on Terror. Because Obama didn’t decimate those policies (as he promised his radical left so he could get their votes) it was possible to get bin laden. Great point!     Andrea Mitchell last night noted that this was on the 8th anniversary of Bush’s “controversial” “Mission Accomplished” speech, and that 8 years later the mission is accomplished. Huh? What could possibly be the connection? Partisan hack Mitchell is as dumb as a bag of wrenches.
