Time Once Again to Play ‘What’s Making John Boehner Cry?’
**Written by Doug Powers
Speaker of the House John Boehner is known for shedding a tear from time to time. Yesterday was one of those days:

Why was Boehner crying?
You might be guessing that it could have something to do with Bin Laden’s demise bringing back memories of that horrible day that was 9/11, which would be understandable, but that’s not it.
Give up? Take a tissue before I tell you, because you just might join him in waterworks:

Okay, the Speaker was moved to tears because he was at the unveiling of a statue of… Gerald Ford.
Boehner needs to be aware that doing this publicly puts him dangerously close to being a Jeff Foxworthy-style punchline: “If you’re a congressman who claims to be conservative and you’ve ever broken down into tears at the unveiling of a statue of Gerald Ford… you might be a RINO…”
A picture of the statue is here. Please pass the Kleenex.

Gerald Ford? Yes I cried too but Speaker Boehner needs to see a doctor–it could be a hormone thing.
What a puss. Man up Boehner or go home. You’re an embarrassment to the American male. If you want to act like a metrosexual/bisexual, join the demoncrat party. Sheese.
And here I thought it was just that he finally saw the pictures of OBL…the images were just too much for him to handle….
*If you’re caught hugging Nancy Pelosi from behind, you might be a RINO!
*If you have no opinion about the release of UBL pics, you might be a RINO!
*If you can magically turn a $38B budget reduction into just $380M, you might be a RINO!
*You, John(ballin’)Boehner, are a RINO!
I am very patriotic, and I can get a little weepy when the Star Spangled Banner plays, but, for cryin’ out loud (no pun intended), bite your tongue – literally – that stops your tears and keeps your sense of decorum intact.
Onions? Farts? Onion farts?
He needs to take something for that.
Unless a close family member or your dog dies, tears from a man are NOT attractive.
Can’t deal with this now. I’m worried about keeping my house, and keeping gas in my car so I can freaking get to work!
Errah, Grow a pair!
What?
How about when your teenage daughter totals your cherry ’75 Dodge Dart Swinger?
He never did that before he was Speaker. Did he?
Ford played football for *Ichigan. Boehner is a Buckeye. Draw your own conclusion…
Mentally unbalanced. This guy needs some serious couch time.
Errah, He just found out . . . .
Fewer dropped calls.
He could of saved a lot on car insurance.
More bars in more places.
The sky is blue . . . .
OK, I don’t want to criticize someone for being emotional, but seriously…what is with this guy? He cries more than I do, and I’m in treatment for depression. And he cries at the weirdest things.
I want to tell him there’s no shame in getting help.
Good grief! Can this guy be replaced with someone who acts like a man? Touchy feely is not what I want to see in my political leaders.
A real elephant stepped on his toe?
He saw Hill’s testes?
Someone told him that he’d have to turn off every light in the Gore house?
C’mon–I thought this was a game?
Owwwwwwccccchhhhh!!
Good thing it wasn’t a 1967 Dart, 340 Six-Pac.
Don’t ask him why he cries. As we learned when he was asked on “60 Minutes”, the question makes him cry.
Boehner….. Nerves of steel.
Good grief. Gerald Ford’s statue????
Really?
If we have to give up one seat in 2012, can it be his??? Please????
lol…
Thanks Spaceycakes.
Dear John,
Stop crying or we’ll give you something to cry about.
Regards,
-The Tea Party
Does Boehner understand that the press is going to say that Pelosi’s legacy as speaker was being one tough witch (spelled with a capital “B”) but that Boehner’s will be a girly-man?
Man up, dude!
He had a bad dream that he was a Detroit writer where almost half of Detroiters can’t read. It was only a dream John!
Looks like Bernie got it correctly with his book Crazies to the Left of me, Wimps to the Right.
I want to see a primary challenge against Boehner and Cantor.
Any takers?
Amen to that.
The only reason for tears is if BHO gets re-elected.
I know, I know. He was watching Dances With The Stars reruns. Watching Kirsty fall on her ass and still not get voted off makes me cry too. Well, laugh myself to tears any way.
Crying over Gerald Ford?
George Washington — yes.
Ronald Reagan — yes.
Gerald Ford — no.
Barack Obama – ?
Boehner you are a little girl. Time for West to lead
Maybe he wants to star in his own “The Crying Game” – yikes. Channeling Boy George…..
…and the other half only reads arabic.
It really was a bad dream.
Nah, it was coming to age in the touchy-feely 60′s and 70′s where men were encouraged to express their inner feelings. Some people obviously haven’t been able to overcome that era yet.
***
Send in Rep. Michelle Bachmann. Big girls don’t cry. They suck it up and fight and win.
***
No more RINO’s.

John Bibb

Yup, but so do real men……evidently a shortage of ‘em in GOP leadership. Past time for a changing of the guard.
LOL hahahahahahaha
Good one!
Fun trivia! I modelled for a painting for the guy who did the bust of Reagan for the Ronald Reagan Library.
He painted Princess Di’s portrait too. Also Imelda Marcos, but I don’t think he talks about that one anymore
John (bonehead) Boehner, ” It’s my party (RINO) and I’ll cry if I want Too” He has some very deep issues! Please replace this “Tears of a Clown” as soon as possible!
Reasons for men to cry (continued)…
- Old Yeller
- Brian’s Song
- The final bill of your last daughter’s wedding
- Your sister-in-law walks into the bar as you are about to go back to the hotel with the entire Swedish Bikini Team
I imagine he had nightmares about all the shoe combinations that were tried.
Chuck Norris’ tears can cure cancer.
Too bad Chuck never cries.
John Boehner’s tears can cause nausea and vomiting.
Too bad he keeps crying.
Hell NO!
Well, I’d probably cry because it would be made from solid gold and the taxpayers would foot the bill. And there’d be one in all 58 states.
get this Weepy Lying Weakling Boner out of our leadership spot!
we have Obamas thug crew of Nazional Socialists running our country into the ground and inserting their awful govt into every part of our lives, and this dumb RINO coward cryer is letting them.
Boner is no better than the Vichy French collaborators who allowed the Nazis free reign in France.
FIFY
(balling is quite different than bawling
)
Come on guys. You can have a nose in the air guy or one who sheds an occassional tear. At least he has emotions. He probably can’t lie or cheat well either. Pick your poison.
Boehner’s a weenie. Now there’s a statement I never thought I’d make. Strange times indeed.
Bo Bo needs to send his designee to these functions. His tears, and feminine side are making conservatives, and their leadership, laughing stocks.
It matters not, that he is a good Republican with fond memories, but we need leadership that is part Sarah, part Michelle, part Rush, and part Navy Seal…Now is not the time to look so darned ineffectual!
easy to see now how and why he caved on the budget deal…he’s a boob.
He’s listening to a 45 of Ol’ Shep?
He just read the part where the hunter shot Bambi’s mother?
He just read the part where the vulture was pecking at the eye of the “Red Pony”?
He’s got sand in his taint?
I give up.
Definitely, the Tea Party wants Tammy Faye and Gucci loafers GONE.
Mrs. Acclaim wonders if perhaps John Boehner has a hromonal imbalance.
Dear Sen. Lindsey Graham,
I think I just found you a girlfriend.
Good Luck!
Watching the tape of Orley Taitz and the 9th Circuit just brought tears to my eyes. You would think the judges would be a little more up on things.
Guess we’ll see where it goes.
The way Obambi’s long-form has been so thoroughly picked apart while no one listens, is another tear jerker.
What the hell have we come to?
Dear John,
I am leaving you. Actually, I left when your estrogen levels exceeded acceptable levels the day following November 2nd 2010.
Apparently I am alone, while at war, fighting the Democrats. This is my Dear John letter. Good riddance you LGBT.
[All of a sudden, Don Corleone rises from his chair and gives Boehner a savage shake]
Don Corleone: YOU CAN ACT LIKE A MAN!
[gives a quick slap to Boehner]
Don Corleone: What’s the matter with you? Is this what you’ve become, a Hollywood finocchio who cries like a woman? “Oh, what do I do? What do I do?” What is that nonsense? Ridiculous!
I cry one day a year. On Memorial Day at the Wall. And I give thanks to names represented there for helping me make it home.
Anything else that would make a man cry in public is shameful and denigrates the emotion.
This guy shouldn’t be in Congress. Let alone trying to lead the most important battle in our history. We are so in trouble.
Good grief!
I cry for my country and conservatives because it’s guys like JB & RINOS that are going to get BHO re-elected…
Leave John Boehner alone!
He may be sensitive, but I’ll take a caring compassionate Republican over a cold hearted Democrat (like Harry Reid or Nancy Peolsi or Rham Emanuel) any day of the week. Crying shows one has a conscience – OK maybe his crying reflex threshold is low – but you know he cares about things. Can’t say that about much of anyone else in Congress these days.
The real complaint against BooBoo is his lack of Conservative principals and commitment along with a serious failure in leadership. Our country must have someone that steps up right now and he’s not doing it. Get someone that will before the greatest nation on earth is lost.

Haha! I had forgotten that pic of Tammy Faye with tears streaming down her face, and mascara running everywhere. I think I read somewhere that she got her eyelids tattooed with eyeliner marks (although not that unusual, I guess).
Errah, We Have A Winner!!!!
This can only get worse.
It’s only a matter of time before someone posts a series of Boehner’s crying episodes on Youtube.
The end of the Republic. Ben Franklin warned us about this…….
Welcome to 1984
I just recently explained to my six-year-old nephew that a man should only cry when a woman rips out his heart or if his dog gets run over. Maybe I should have included statue unveilings, too.
I can just imagine that crybaby watching a chick flick, all wrapped up in a snuggy with Barney Frank, and both of them pulling tissues from the box on the couch next to them.

If you want to understand the disconnect between the Beltway mindset and those of beyond the Beltway, ponder this article lead in.
That is the GOP position. It never dawns on them that if they just refused to raise the debt ceiling that would FORCE Congress to enact their budget reforms and spending cuts, as well as even more, to balance the budget.
The GOP is thoroughly unwilling to stand on principle and play hardball.
I do not like their principles, but I tip my hat to Progressives. If they were in Boehner’s shoes they wouldn’t hesitate to use that tactic to push their agenda.
Tell me she stole the keys, because no sensible parent would let a teenager drive a prized vehicle. I remember treating my mom’s Ford Maverick like a roller coaster.
Excuse me while I go throw up.
I thought Boener was crying because he found out he doesn’t have a pair.
$100 billion in spending cuts? no, how about 80 billion? no wait, we can go lower and lower and lower….sold to the marxists in the back row!
The sad reality…
Yes, I admit it, I cry as well:
Amazing Grace
Walk To Emmaus
Star Spangled Banner
At The Wall
Seeing a Hero’s Funeral Procession
When our son leaves for Afghanistan…again
… I think that is about it.
And since Boehner’s email program has the spam filter turned on, it is a waste of time to send your thoughts.
It sounds like Boehner needs to listen to the What Every Boy Needs To Know To Be A Man Speech:
At least this is worthy of a shed tear or two (I know that I did when I first heard it).
Here’s something I learned today: one of the reasons men cry less is they have larger tear ducts. It takes more for them to overflow!
Maybe Boehner has unusually small tear ducts.
