Look, up in the air: Classic symptoms of what Daniel Pipes calls “Sudden Jihad Syndrome”.
If you see something, say something — and do something. Fortunately, the crew and passengers of AA Flight 1561 did — tackling a nutball Yemeni Muslim shouting “Allahu Akbar” as he beat on the cockpit door of their plane.
Now, watch law enforcement authorities downplay the incident as nothing-burger:
The passengers sat stunned as they watched a man walk quickly toward the front of American Airlines Flight 1561 as it was descending toward San Francisco. He was screaming and then began pounding on the cockpit door.
“I kept saying to myself: ‘What’s he doing? Does he have a bomb? Is he armed?’” passenger Angelina Marty said.
Within moments Sunday, a flight attendant tackled Rageh Almurisi. Authorities do not yet have a motive.
While authorities said that Almurisi, 28, of Vallejo, Calif., has no clear or known ties to terrorism, the incident underscored fears that extremists may try to mount attacks to retaliate for the death of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden last week.
Federal agents are investigating Almurisi’s background. He was carrying a Yemeni passport and a California identification card, authorities said.
…Marty, 35, recalled that she and other passengers on the plane were stunned when they saw Almurisi walking down the aisle. She said a woman in a row across from her who speaks Arabic translated that Almurisi said “God is Great!” in Arabic.
Andrew Wai, another passenger, told KGO-TV on Monday that the wife of one of the men who took Almurisi down later said Almurisi was yelling “Allahu Akbar.”
“There was no question in everybody’s mind that he was going to do something,” Marty said.
A male flight attendant tackled Almurisi, and other crew members and passengers, including a retired Secret Service agent and a retired San Mateo police officer, helped subdue him as he banged on the door, police said. The flight attendant put plastic handcuffs on him.
Funny how you can scream “Allahu Akbar” at the top of your lungs and still have authorities proclaim your motives unknown.
It’s not the first time.

Ridiculous terms:
1. Radical Islam – Islam IS radical. Trying to differentiate between “radical” Islam and some seemingly non-radical version of Islam is an exercise in futility. It doesn’t exist. It clearly states in the Qu’ran, convert through deception or kill [the infidels]. Those who do not are hypocrites and are worse than the infidels. Clearly this is radicalism but there is no peaceful part of the religion. Comparing it to Christianity, the hypocrites are back-sliders.
2. Peaceful Muslims – there aren’t any. If your enemy indoctrinates to convert through deception or kill, then if they have not converted you and have not killed you [yet] then they’re hypocrites. If they are still trying to convert you then they are not peaceful.
So, they are either not done with their attempt to convert or they’re lazy. Either way they’re not peaceful, by definition.

Calm down Michelle – he’s only a witness on his way to testify against the CIA agents who found bin Laden, and was looking for the restroom. Eric Holder will straighten all this out…
Some, in our government, DO understand that airplanes are still vulnerable to acts of islamic terrorism that can bring them down, and may not really want to prevent them. Both unsuccesful and successful acts of domestic terrorism work in favor of the left to reign in our freedom.
WE must understand that some in government do not want us to have our freedom, and failed acts of terrorism give rise to fear and a willingness to surrender more of our freedom for security, while successful acts of terrorism presents the opportunity for government to take advantage of a crisis and usurp our freedom.
The reason motive is so hard to establish is because the man shouting “Alahu Akbar!” is a young male with an Arabic name. Very confusing.
Every time I fly, I go up and down the aisle(s) of the plane and look for camel-jockeys/towel-heads. I specifically tell them: “I’LL BE WATCHING YOU!”
So far, it’s worked EVERY TIME!
We all know this is what they meant
CAIR is simply doing its Islamic work, openly, for all who really are noticing what CAIR is doing. It needs no mask. It works to infiltrate all levels of government and media, and for acceptance and transition of our laws to sharia laws and for more favorable treatment of muslims in the goal of establishing a north american caliphate. Peaceful if possible. Violent if necessary.

CAIR was an unidicted co-cosnspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial in which the Holy Land Foundation was found to be collecting money for Hamas and Hezbellah. Recently, the same Dallas office of the Justice Department that prosecuted the Holy Land Foundation case was in the process of obtaining an indictment of CAIR when Eric Holder stepped in to stop it.

A single honest recitation of the Shahadah in Arabic is all that is required for a person to become a Muslim. A conversion to Islam is meant to be a one-way process, both for the individual and their descendants.
Keep all of that in mind… (four repetitions of “Allahu Akbar” followed by the recitation of the Shahadah in Arabic)… when you read this:
Obama himself repeated “Allahu Akbar” four times,
followed by the Islamic confession of faith in Arabic.
Obama is the only President ever able to sing “The International” in Arabic and Russian.
I’m wondering if the plane’s occupants who took action against this Jihadist were required to consult with Obama before taking him down?

If you [Muslims] are under their [non-Muslims'] authority, fearing for yourselves, behave loyally to them with your tongue while harboring inner animosity for them … [know that] God has forbidden believers from being friendly or on intimate terms with the infidels rather than other believers-except when infidels are above them [in authority]. Should that be the case, let them act friendly towards them while preserving their religion.
One can only conclude that Imam Rauf’s selective citation of Koran 36: 58, without the requisite context of the accompanying verse 36:59, is a deliberate act of “taqiyya” — sanctioned lying to infidels.

The crisis will come to an end as Congress agree on a bipartisan bill to make it a hate crime to approach anyone shouting either Allah Akbar or Ollie Ollie Oxen Free, as they sound alike.

Back in the 18th-19th century, the British had problems with their Hindu and Moslem auxiliaries, because they used paper cartridges that were rumored to be greased (presumably for storage) with pig and cow fat.
Maybe we could stop using petroleum-based lubricants in planes (at least for some things) and use pig-based lubricants. After all, no plane that’s been defiled with pork products is likely to be blown up with a Moslem aboard (or likely to be boarded by a Moslem…)

There is no way that the gov can make us safe. Life is not safe. It is full of risks and dangers which cannot be removed. The gov has used this opportunity to take away liberties with the appearance of making the world a safer place. In the 70′s, when the palestinians were hijacking everything, the airlines didn’t feel that it was necessary to spend the money to secure the cockpit doors because of the possibility of the plane being directed elsewhere. The gov didn’t force the airlines to do anything until the new generation of hijackers decided to take down buildings. So I guess it was ok to hijack planes or blow them up, but not to take down buildings. I’m still amazed that the people working for the flight schools saw nothing wrong with taking cash from students who didn’t care to learn to land planes. Didn’t they think that was strange enough to say NO???? Maybe thinking the students were terrorist might have been a stretch, but all that cash and no one thought …. maybe drug dealers? Evil people give off suspicious energy. Being suspicious is a kind of self-defense. The gov will never make me feel safe, especially when it is controlled by the DC idiots.

More’s the pity he wasn’t on my flight last week. The one where my kids’ backpacks had to be scanned 3 times because of the Cheerios contained in Tupperware housed inside them. Guess the TSA agents were so concerned about the dangerousness of oat cereal that they completely overlooked the pocketknife in my purse. And it wasn’t exactly a small knife either.

Constitution Cited in suit involving Sharia Law
I hope the defenders of SQ 755 have enough on the ball to use the 1st Amendment as a defense against claims that SQ 755 violates the 1st Amendment.
Allowing Sharia Law in courts, when no other religion has an equivalent would be an establishment of religion as forbidden in the 1st Amendment.
