Poll: And the Most Trusted Political Reporter in America Is…

Who do Americans trust the most to bring them accurate and fair news? Nobody.

From Media Bistro:

Suffolk University conducted another of its political polls this week. Mostly, the questions were about the candidates for president. But the last two questions, 58 and 59, had to do with the media, including this question:

What political reporter would you say that you trust the most?

Of the 1,070 respondents, the majority, 21% said “Don’t Know.” The next highest percentage at 15% was “None.” So according to this poll, “Don’t Know” and “None” are the most trusted U.S. political reporters.

I won’t bother to say there’s hope for the future yet, because just as soon as I do, “Don’t Know” will feel a thrill go up its leg.

Following “Don’t Know” and “None,” with nobody receiving more than nine percent, were, in order, Bill O’Reilly, Anderson Cooper, “Other,” Mike Huckabee and Brian Williams.

His method for doing so is a bit different than reporters have used in the past, but it’s absolutely still a bonafide method of reporting.

The reporters you speak of merely expand the number of people that know about the events.

You have a very queer definition of “reporter.” One that is, frankly, not worth arguing about. Obla di obla da.

Fox reporters, along with the others, are not “reporters” as we used to think of them, and certainly not investigative reporters. Rush has his dittoheads and Barry the Usurper has his. Just dump what he and his handlers want said by the media via one of their lackeys, and the media will “ditto” it with little…..and mostly no, questioning.

The usurper and his handlers have established tyrannical control over most of the media, all of Congress and the federal courts.

When conservative media personalities refuse to investigate, or even discuss Barry’s mostly made up past, and won’t touch his apparent ineligibility with a ten-foot pole, the bad guys have won and we are simply going through the motions of “opposing” the regime.

Michael Barone is one “political journalist” I trust.
He’s mostly factual, with some educated experience thrown in.
And his “educated experience” is quite comprehensive, covering many Presidential elections and campaigns.
Outside of Barone, anybody here making comments has about as much credibility as the highest ranked media anchor.

Yes, life goes on, and the world changes. Try to keep up, old man.

    Hi StaceyOfLiberty,
What did you think of Anderson Cooper saying, “It’s hard to talk when you’re teabagging.” ?

For heaven’s sake. I hope it was while he was drunk at a party. >:(

No, no it wasn’t. It was on the air. Go to YouTube, you will find it easily. Type in “Anderson Cooper: It’s hard to talk when you’re teabagging” .

After you view it, I would love to hear your views. Don’t you think you would have heard about this if someone on Fox had said such a thing? Or, more accurately, don’t you think if someone on Fox had said something so disparaging about a lefty group you would have heard about it?

@cbmi: That quote is gross. And no, I don’t think I would have heard about it coming from a Fox person, because I never hear about those guys either. I don’t watch a lot of TV or follow TV personalities…I had Glenn Beck mixed up with the musician Beck until pretty recently.

I just saw the one interview with that reporter Nir what’s-his-name on youtube because someone on FB linked to it.

I didn’t mean that you had to have heard it firsthand, just that it would be so overblown had it been a Fox person being disgusting, you couldn’t have avoided it if you had tried.

I’m not trying to interrogate you, (believe it or not), but did you catch my other question for you on the Colbert thread?

Just goes to show that after 4 decades of providing democrat BS propaganda, Nobody is trusted more than any news reporter. Thanks Katy and Dan! We now have a blissfully ignorant electorate who knows every misstep on dancing with the stars, and every off note on American Idol, but couldn’t identify the Speaker of the house to sve their life.

Yeah, that might be true. Most of the MSM has a strong liberal bias, no question.

I’m not trying to interrogate you, (believe it or not), but did you catch my other question for you on the Colbert thread?

I don’t mind interrogation from you, cause you’re friendly. :) I missed the other question about Colbert…I’ll go look.

I will say I don’t expect other liberals to always say things I agree with 100% of the time. I don’t expect conservatives to answer for every ill-advised thing a conservative says, either.
