#AskObama: Today’s Twitter Townhall

As we speak, the teleprompter is being reprogrammed so that all evasive answers do not exceed 140 characters:
Starting at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, President Obama will hold the first ever “Twitter Town Hall,” to discuss jobs and the economy. The president will be speaking, not tweeting, but his questions will come from Twitter.
Thousands of Tweets are already populating the #AskObama hashtag created for the event. But the White House says Obama will also answer questions that are asked on Twitter while the event is going on.
Twitter will monitor hot tweets — those that have the most Retweets, Favorites, and Replies. Also, with help from visualization company Mass Relevance, Twitter will be mapping the big themes and locations that are “driving” the conversation.
The questions and comments are already flowing in. A couple of them are even non-snarky. For the first Twitter townhall, look for the debut of the phrase “Tweeting from Behind” and a pitch for Joe Biden’s new Twitter account, which the president will undoubtedly give a plug (pun intended).

Speaking of Biden’s new Twitter account, it turns out that Sheriff Joe won’t be writing his own Tweets. Darn — that’s like getting a clown car and hiding the keys from Bozo. What a letdown.

I am All A’twitter at all the Glitter from HeWhoWonOne at the First (and hopefully last) Twitter Town Hall. Hopefully Anthony Weiner will Show and Tell at this event.

I have a feeling that most of the questions they receive will be on the order of the ones you wrote. Good questions and ones for which we are dying to hear his answers. And they will all be ignored, of course. Just wait…the questions he answers will be the usual very easy, very Obama-friendly pieces of crap, probably written by the WH. #askobama You consider yourself a Constitutional scholar. The SCOTUS, in Minor v. Happersett, intentionally avoided construing the 14th amendment and found that Minor was a “natural born citizen”. You do not fit the definition of an Article 2 Section 1 “natural born citizen” as defined by the SCOTUS precedent, and your campaign web site claimed you are a “native born citizen” under the 14th amendment. When you/they realized that a “natural born citizen” does not need the 14th amendment, they scrubbed the references on your web site to the 14th amendment. Please explain why the site was scrubbed, and why you think you are a “natural born citizen” even when Supreme Court precedent says you’re NOT.

Aren’t you the slightest bit curious about why, for example, Obama is using a SSN issued in Connecticut, that investigators have discovered belonged to Jean Paul Ludwig… who died in Hawaii in 1981? Did you know the SSA never re-issues numbers? Did you know Obama’s grandmother worked in the probate office there? Do you care?

Good comment. I tend top worry most about the Left’s control of media and universities, myself. That’s the current take on events, and the folks who will write the history books in a convenient package.

Alynsky tactics only work when the other side doesn’t know whats happening. We now know and the knowledge is spreading through conservative media and blogs like this one. People are learning and not only does this knowledge minimize the effects of Alynsky tactics, they are able to turn it around and play the same game.
Howard Dean set a precedent with online contributions. Obama perfected it by disabling controls so he could also get illegal monies. Ohters see that and set up their own internet contribution sites. Didn’t Ron Paul set a record for those contributions in one day?
Propaganda is still propaganda. Each side learns from the other side. The monopoly on media outlets is concerning. Soros targeted those places just like he targeted Secretary of State positions so he could manipulate elections. Spooky Dude has been outed. His game doesn’t work as well now.
Fox News gets its ratings because people want to see the truth, not the MSM propaganda version of it. Things are a changing. The truth is getting out. Thats why the left has stepped up their class warfare and targeting of groups like the Tea Party by labeling them as racists. They are desperate.
The last election was a complete landslide in favor of sanity. I suspect, as many liberals also do, that the next one will be equally as devastating to the leftist cause. Conservatives are fighting back. We are not complacent anymore. The lies and smears from the left have gone over the top and the fight is on.
