Obamacare Fables: The Greatest Hits Video

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 19, 2011 09:31 PM

Last week, I published The Ever-Expanding Catalogue of Obamacare Fables.

This week, MRCTV and BreitbartTV bring you an excellent and handy video of Obama’s favorite health care takeover tall tales in his own words.

All it needs is an “Unhappily Ever After” end page.

I have to admit that I didn’t watch the video above. I simply refuse to subject myself to any more of his speechifying than I have to. Unfortunately the pRes wouldn’t recognize the truth if it walked up to him and slapped him (which I wish it would do). Any story that advances the agenda will do, whether it is true or not (usually not). After every sentence of his speeches I wish Joe Wilson would stand up and yell “you lie”. There really should be a disclaimer announcer at the end of all his speeches. I think I’ve finished with my rant now. Nov 2012 can’t posibly get here fast enough.

The only question I have is how long is the video? An Obama lying video would be like watching a bad movie marathon including Gigli, Howard the Duck, and Plan 9 from Outer Space.

PS Happy, I’m gonna need your iron skillet to deflect all that hail you sent down our way. Incoming storm…

Sadly, while this is painfully obvious to us, most the people in the US get their “news” from the lamestream so are oblivious to it. 45% still approve of the shmuck in chief. I find this mind boggling.

What is really odd, is that the left says the identical same thing of the right. They tell me they had to put up with Bush for 8 years and his lies, now we have to put up with Obama for 8.

    squeeze127,

You must be new here cause most would thought that out better.

    1) We have these silly things called elections. Bush won 2 of them. Obama won 1 of them. All the metrics are pointing to his not winning a second. So where do you get the “have to put up with Obama for 8?”

    2) I’m no fan of Bush but have you paid any attention at all to what is going on? No politician is 100% honest but Obama takes dishonesty to a whole new level. He doesn’t gloss over the truth, he brazenly lies and it is glaringly obvious. So saying Obama is a liar is stating the obvious truth.

You really can’t compare the two. Also, you really need to dig deeper into things. Generally, what the left says are “lies” are more often than not based on a highly skewed version of events (i.e. fiction, imagined) without the use of provable facts. I have to deal with enough “leftists” in my life to know this one well. They are a walking contradiction and make a person’s brain hurt.

Detail: I’m an independent voter who wants things done that are proven to work w/ historical and economical evidence supporting it. I’m not right or left, R or D.

Since Obozo and his minions all believe in government overregulation, how about a disclaimer posted before and after each one of his speeches or “press conferences”? It could sound something like this:

“The words you just heard are of political in nature. Due to the growing discord between this president and his constituency, caution is advised against overreaction. Everything you heard after “Good Morning” rates a 9 in 10 chance of being wrong, a fib, a distortion, a misspoken phrase, or a flat-out lie. In fact, there was probably nothing good about this morning anyways.

Continued exposure to this oration can lead to revulsion, anger, an increased willingness to call their members of Congress, total disbelief and a taste for TEA.

Tests have also found a small number of subjects have symptoms of swooning, waiver application, trolling, excessive leg-tingling and the ability to suck down more Kool-aid than previously-thought possible by humans. This small group may also experience erections lasting longer than four hours. Face it folks, the blood has to go some where ‘cuz it ain’t making it to the brain.”

Precisely. Every day we are bombarded with poll numbers that make you think Obama couldnt win an election against a walrus; yet his overall approval numbers are at 45%. If this Country’s citizens cant be bothered enough to get factual information on who is running their country, and what it means for the future of the country, then we deserve what we get.

I think it’s because the approval polls are usually made up of ‘adults’ while the election polls are made up of ‘likely voters’. If the media could get away with it they’d base his approval rating on a four square block area in Chicago.

And now, he is praising the plan just put out by the “gang of 7″, a “bi-partisan” group of “really smart” politicians who have presented basically the same plan as originally was castigated and blown off. Reid likes it, Obama likes it…what could possibly go wrong? He comes out and spews more lies about this plan, just as the House is voting on the Cap, Cut and Balance bill. Great timing, and well orchestrated. The “new” plan sounds great, in outline form. In potential disaster…it rates high also. Some of the republicans are being sucked into this. Lord, will they EVER learn?? If Obama likes it and is SO QUICK to give it praise…that is your first clue that it is a VERY BAD EFFING DEAL!

What makes you think they aren’t trying to get away with it? This media has carried more water for him than Aquarius.
Besides, many would answer the question wondering if they would be labeled racist for disapproving of him. We all know that being called racist in today’s society is far worse than wife-beater, puppy-abuser, child-molester or murderer.

I, for one, would love to see how the poll questions are framed. There are certain ways to manipulate the poll questions to swing more favorably toward a specific outcome. I would not be surprised if the questions are very skewed toward making Oblamo’s numbers seem impressive.
