New Obama motto: Yes, We Spam!

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 29, 2011 04:21 PM

The King of Spamalot

The social media-amusement of the day from D.C. involves the White House campaign to spam House and Senate Republicans on Twitter.

You can see it in real time on the Barack Obama Twitter account.

Here’s a screen grab to give you an idea of what it’s all about:

The whole thing seems to have backfired — as Republican pols report they are gaining followers on Twitter, libs report Obama’s account is losing followers, and spam jokes and complaints from all sides abound.

There’s your social media genius at work: Twitter-spamming the Future!

Here in Wisconsin, the SPAM attacks are going personal. Apparently, the White House is directing their rapid followers to call every household in Wisconsin, especially in the Madison area. If you don’t agree with them, they act like Hiraghm on a Palin rant and hang up.

I wonder if any of them learned of the 10:1 ratio rule. For each person, they have 10 people they directly influence. How does attacking voters in a swing state help?

Well, it sure helps the Republicans. They are really pissing us off. And being in-your-face-pushy won’t ingratiate them to the dems either. It’s like high-pressure salesmen. You know how popular they are! Keep it up Obama. Maybe you can get your approval down to 20% by the next election. I know you can do it!!

Just as the mosquito is our State Bird, so is SPAM our State Food.

Austin is not in Michele Bachmann’s district. She is in the northern suburbs and Austin is south.

FYI…we have been stocking up on food and have a nice pantry down the basement. We have about 20 cans of SPAM, including bacon flavored. Yum! I know how to fix SPAM many many ways! I used to be a fan of Spam, being former military. I loved Spam and eggs, Grilled Spam and cheese sannies, plain Spam and cheese sannies that were sloppy with Mircul Whoop. Spam omelets and oh so many other Spam recipes.

What ruined me on it was the ‘less salt/less fat’ version aka Spam Lite.

If I wanted less fat or less salt, I’d buy a ham hock and a meat grinder and make my own spam. It’s just easier to buy the canned (FULL FAT, FULL SALT)version. I tend to get cranky when someone tells me how much/what to eat.
