Latest Movement Sweeping America: Al Sharpton’s ‘Resist We Much’
**Written by Doug Powers
“But resist, we much… we must… and we will much… about… that… be committed.” – Al Sharpton, August 9, 2011
A new opposition movement is born, and in a matter of hours. It’s Al Sharpton’s “Resist We Much!”
As a matter of fact, the t-shirts are already for sale:

Sharpton spawned the latest political craze just last night. I didn’t necessarily want to post this, but it’s so funny that I just couldn’t resist… we much:
And to think I’ve been ignoring his show up to now. I had no idea he was this good.

O/T Reason # 2,477 to Hate Obama’s Guts
http://news.yahoo.com/white-house-photo-sparks-protest-223835400.html
Sorry, mate. How ’bout a nice Courvoisier, neat?
As for Mayor Nutter, I love what he had to say. But I did a little research and found that he is a Democrat that voted for King Three Putt. What appears to be lost on him is that his pResident and party are the cause of the very problems he is railing against. These thugs are a product of the Democrat sponsored, family destroying welfare state. One can only hope that Mr. Nutter will soon make that connection.
These guys could not make a connection between an electrical plug and a wall socket.
Geez man. I’m up to #245,312. But this one actually makes me nauseous. Profaning these heros and insulting their families for a freakin photo op??!?!? That’s one for each SEAL. #245,334.
Ditto
I’m up to about 15,000,000,000,000 and counting….fast.
Al: Hey Barney, how must burritos did you half for launch?
Barney (cutting the cheese): A phew!
Sharpton, spoken like the idiot he is.

A title more normally reserved for court jesters but..!?
good ole sharpie…using one brain cell for another…god bless him…
Resist common sense, we much …
Yes, you do, Al. Yes, you do.
Indeed. Every d@mn dollar – but Flyover’s example deserves singular outrage. Above and beyond, no?
Hey Al the smoker you drink the player you get.
The reasons to despise Obama and his Presidency are the only thing higher than the national debt.
Indeed. But the sad fact is that nothing this evil little man and his pathetic associates in the media do surprise me anymore.
Hi Marshall_Will…Don’t know about Ms. Winfrey, I have been watching the Philly goings on very closely, because my nephew, after spending time on the DMZ, came home, went to the Police Academy, and is now a Philadelphia Police Officer.
This is very sad and scary.
Dittos!
He gets to fight for me and my country again, and God protect him.
Now why ya’ll be hating on Al…
O/T: I don’t have the linnk right now, but NewsMax.com has a link to the bios of some of our warriors killed by terrorists (not warriors) on that chopper. There were Airmen and soldiers, not just Seals on that mission.
I think Al may have just had a stroke. or maybe just a migraine like that reporter a few months ago.
A prayer for your nephew and his safety, Green Eyed Lady.
Look to London, Philadelphia,Chicago, Minn.State Fair, for what’s coming. Forewarned is foreARMED.
OK has a 6ft rule here along with carry laws. My boss and I made comment of what a pile of bodies would be in the parking lot if this happened at the Tulsa State Fair instead of the Wisconsin State Fair.
Not the greatest album, but not bad.
Maybe the good “Rev.” can get tips from Obama during golf trip.
Much ado about nothing.
Sharptons theme.
Earlier in day I was going to post, but that JOB got in the way.
“Must ado about much”
PHILADELPHIA – August 10, 2011 (WPVI) — The District Attorney’s office tonight approved some very serious charges against the three young men, two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old, wanted in a ‘flash mob’ attack.
They have been charged with aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy, both felonies, as well as simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

Did anyone pick up on the reprot that none of the people who beat up the fair goers at the Wisconsin State Fair were to be charged with a “hate crime.”
Now, I think “hate crimes” are dumb, but the inequity of enforcement here is ridiculous.
Quotes of the day
“President Barack Obama is getting hammered on all sides for a stumbling U.S. economy and his uneven response to it, raising pressure on him to take steps to create jobs or risk being ousted in next year’s election…
“He received negative reviews from pundits for a speech on Monday that offered no new policy ideas and failed to cushion a steep sell-off on Wall Street…
“David Yepsen, director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University, said a host of problems is playing on Americans’ minds, from weak job growth, and slumping markets to the recent deaths of 30 American troops in Afghanistan, a war that is increasingly unpopular.
“‘There’s that feeling, that things are out of control, that we’re not on top of this anymore,’ Yepson said.”
***
“Gary Pearce, a Democratic strategist in North Carolina, a swing state Mr Obama is likely to struggle to retain in 2012, said: ‘Democrats are worried. He looks weak, he doesn’t say anything that grabs you, and people are looking for some kind of magic.’
“He said some activists were asking ‘do we need someone tougher to fight the tea party?’ ‘You see a yearning for a Bill Clinton-type approach and Hillary would reflect that. Obama is just a different political animal, he is a low-key guy,’ he added.”
***
“All that remains of the great hopes Americans and the world had pinned on Obama, inspired by his stirring campaign speeches about change and renewal, is a battlefield of unsatisfactory and contradictory compromises. Obama, who just turned 50 and was once a symbol of youthful change, suddenly seems old and worn out, as gray as his hair has become…
“The clash with the Tea Party has highlighted Obama’s shortcomings. His opponents have everything he seems to lack. They are loud, confident and uncompromising, sticking to their principles while he repeatedly hesitates and delays. In the US midterm elections, dozens of Tea Party candidates managed to get elected to Congress by capitalizing on the rage of people who Obama had failed to connect with…
“It is now clear that Obama is simply not the man to help conflicting parties out of entrenched positions or give new impetus to an alliance. He instinctively leans toward measured, often delayed reactions, leaving his promises of change to fall by the wayside.”
***
“‘We just wish he’d be more of a fighter,’ said one influential Democrat with a grimace. Another agreed: ‘You can’t blame him for everything. I just wish he would come across more forceful at times, but that is not the dude’s style. Detached hurts you when things are sour. You need some of Clinton’s ‘I feel your pain’ compassion.’…
“Obama’s response on Monday to Friday’s Standard & Poor’s downgrade and to the 22 Navy Seal commandos and 8 other soldiers killed by a Taliban rocket-propelled grenade in Afghanistan was once more too little, too late. It was just like his belated, ineffectual response on the BP oil spill and his reaction to the would-be Christmas Day bomber; it took him three days on vacation in Hawaii to speak about the terrorist incident when the country was scared about national security, and then he spent the next week callously shuttling from the podium to the golf course…
“His withholding and reactive nature has made him seem strangely irrelevant in Washington, trapped by his own temperament. He doesn’t lead, and he doesn’t understand why we don’t feel led.”

But the campaign dollars continue to flow in so life is good.
Weasel…..
Enjoy your vacation on Moth-a’s Vinyud, Mr. President.
Yeah, I hear ya….But I do think Lil Barry thought the TP would have given up and gone away by now….Ha! Fool.
Can he NEVER do it right! He stands on a stage in front of thousands of people accompanied by several other candidates and during the playing of the National Anthem and “ole jug ears” stands with the fingers of his hands intertwined in front of his crotch while all others are demonstrating the proper respect with their right hands placed over their heart. (I don’t know, was he or was he not actually twiddling his thumbs). Now he renders a hand salute to coffins while not wearing a head covering, again while others stand with their hand over their heart. Just how long will he/did he hold this position. I feel sure nobody at the receiving end ever returned the salute. I realize that the several branches of the armed forces may each have their own protocols for salutes but his behavior seems contrived to cause insult and embarrassment to each of them. Even draft dodging “B.J” Clinton did better than this “community organizer”.
At least Obama can read above a 3rd grade level; Sharpton, not so must…er, make that “much”.
I guess that English is NOT the official language of MSNBC. Should have realized that from Olbie, Chrissy, and the Mancow…but Sharpton BRINGS IT HOME.
Homeboy TV Hour.
My yardman thinks he was talking about taking care of plants, as in “NOT SO MUCH MULCH!”
I can envision a parody based on Janet Jackson’s Miss You Much…
Al Sharpton’s Resist We Much…
Al Sharpton doesn’t realize that the Tea Party is the very essence of
“Resist We Must!”
Hedy Lamarr was the aunt of my niece’s husband. Small world. She was also the featured prominently as a pinup girl on one episode of M.A.S.H., and Hawkeye did wax eloquent about her sexy overbite. Liv Tyler’s is similar I think. * sigh * Oh to be young and dumb again.
Perhaps Dan Quayle was thinking of Al Sharpton when he said,
to the bang bang boogie
say up jump the boogie
to the rhythm of the boogity-bee
Nice retro
Maybe he’s an Xbox fan and really said “Resist Wii much”…
Remember the admonition from comedian Bob Nelson (I think it was):
“A mind is a terrible thing, and it must be stopped!”
I keep hearing it set to the tune of “All your base are belong to us”
“Resist we much, we must and we will much…”
I’d rather he go to Mothra’s Vineyard…
BTW, re: Mayor Nutter (what a name!), I’m sorry but he isn’t saying anything new and he isn’t making the connection between his political party and the logical effects flowing from them that he decries.
I was raised by black parents that had long before known and taught what he says here and they continued to say it when it was unpopular. My dad was a military policeman and retired as an E-8 in ’79. My mom (also a Philly person) did 1 stint as an AF cryptologist back in ’53 where she met my dad before she came home to raise us. They didn’t play and we weren’t allow to countenance this crap.
I’m glad to hear the Mayor’s admonitions, but in a way it angers me that the Mt. Carmel Baptist church had to wait until a Democrat politician was elected mayor to “Amen!” what has been said for some decades now, back when all this cultural rot in the “black community” started. Where have they been?? Better late than never, I suppose.
I’ve been called “Uncle Tom” and “wannabe” and “white boy” more times than I can recall for saying this EXACT same thing and then this fellow says it and it’s revelatory. Sigh.
As I said, though, I’m glad to hear it but Mayor Nutter STILL has a long way to go to get to the root of the problem. Note to Nutter: GET OFF THE PLANTATION. RESIST WE MUCH!!
Correction:
OK, OK, I’m in a talkative mood this month but I have to say, between Rogue Cheddar, Gorebot, Hangfire and SpaceyCakes to name a choice few, I laughed so hard I almost reduxed a Barney’s Frank flatulence moment (TMI, TMI!!). You guys are insane! (side-stepping the gerbil stuff, tho) I wish I was that quickwitted!
We thank you, sir. You are an excellent judge of character.
Save the Gerbils!
Bumper Sticker: Nuke all the gay unborn gerbils!
skiddly bee bop
we rock and
skooby doo
guess what America?
we love you…
“…send it in a letter baby
tell you on the phone
I’m not the kinda girl who likes to be alone
I miss you must
(boy, oh, I miss you must)
I really miss you must
(M.I.S.S. you must)…”
–apologies to Janet (Miss Jackson if yer nasty)
So…according to Al Sharpton, Herm Cain is a black cracker! I knew there was something about Mr. Cain I liked! We crackers need to stick together. And when Mr. Cain is POTUS and gets this country going again, we can relegate Al Sharpton to the trashheap of race-baiting history.
