Blocked by Alec Baldwin; Plus: Laughing at liberal hate
So on Wednesday night, I was on Twitter when the news broke that the U.S. Supreme Court had refused to stay the execution of convicted Georgia Death Row inmate Troy Davis.
As I often do, I simply re-tweeted a link to the news bulletin without commentary:
I followed it with four other brief tweets – here, here, here and here. One tweet noted that no SCOTUS dissents to the stay denial were released. The next tweet noted that Georgia Democrat Rep. Hank Johnson had absurdly declared “I am Troy Davis” in solidarity with the Death Row inmate facing execution. The next observed that the Occupy Wall Street mob had turned from demonizing financial industry workers to threatening the entire state of Georgia over the pending execution. The last tweet, taking note of over-the-top harangues from Alec Baldwin, jibed:
In Baldwin’s warped mind, my little jab at his pretentiousness turned into “cheerleading” Troy Davis’s execution and my reminder about the other side of the story — the long-delayed justice for murder victim police officer Mark MacPhail — turned into right-wing bloodlust. He sicced his followers on me…
…and the rest is Twitter history. I’m attaching the very best and brightest in liberal hate tweets at the end of this post for your enjoyment (language warning, as usual). Long-time readers of my blogs, columns, and books know that I’ve been exposing prog intolerance/racism/sexism/bigotry for 20 years now (see here, here, here, here for fun flashbacks). Twitter just makes it more accessible.
MSM and entertainment rag coverage of Baldwin’s Twitter meltdown and mob followers has downplayed and whitewashed just how crazy their “new tone” is. As Kurt Schlichter pointed out, Baldwin used the Troy Davis story to trash American military leaders and troops and outrageously taunted MacPhail’s family to call for the death penalty against the Bush administration. Baldwin jeered: “Wonder if the McPhail (sic) family will seek death penalty for US leaders who killed thousands of US soldiers and countless innocent Iraqis.”"

What is this Tweeter thing, anyway? Seems like a time consuming, stress-inducing waste of time.
Twitter is a service where you can send short (140 character) messages. You can just post a message (as a status update) or send a message to someone or “mention” them using the “@” sign before their handle (e.g. @michellemalkin @ThePowersThatBe).
You have a timeline that shows everything you have said plus the updates of those you “follow.” You can mention someone even if you don’t follow them (as all these leftards did to Michelle).
It’s a great way to send short messages to people and communicate quickly. I use it for both personal and political communication.

I’ve spent sometime in the Philippines. I met a great older guy there. A farmer, when we stopped to get a soda at a small stand in Tarlac Province.
I like to talk some and so did he.
He started fighting the Japanese when he was 13 years old. He later was a guide for American troops when they returned. Met a couple of his kids too, not really kids they were in there late 30s.

The hateful vitriol coming from the left never ceases to disappoint expectations. If Baldwin had a conscience, he would be ashamed of what he initiated on Twitter, but that is way too much to expect from this has been! Instead of sitting on his backside Twittering and shoving twinkies down his pie hole, he really should jump on the treadmill and drop 40 pounds because he now makes the Michelin Man look skinny. I have a great training program I can show him if he is man enough. It’s called the Marine Corps boot camp. But alas, he would just receive a nice blanket party reception and would leave crying like the little girl he really is!
On another note, Baldwin doesn’t really care about Troy Davis, he just wants publicity in a vain attempt to reignite his already dead career. He, like we, all know that Troy Davis got what he deserved!
By the way, Asian women are the most beautiful, smart and sensuous women in the world! Baldwin knows this but like Kim, he just hates what he cannot have!!

Alec Baldwin’s regular appearance on the Turner movie channel has actually already influenced my viewing of that program. I love old films, but Baldwin is a liberal nut-job – - extremist if you will and I just cannot watch him. I’ll rent my movies.
Now that he has behaved in such a manner to Ms. Malkin, who simply doesn’t agree with his politics, he reinforces his well-known hateful personality, much like the notorious phone call to his own daughter that sounded like he needed psychiatric help.
It’s not surprising that a progressive/liberal/Marxist would behave in this manner. The disturbing thing to me is that the Democrats have been taken over by these people. While they constantly try to label tea party members and conservatives as extremists, the reality is that it is they that are intent on destroying our country and culture.
Having been a member of the DNC for years, I finally came to the conclusion that this is ‘not my parents’ party” anymore, but a poor excuse for a socialist/marxist organization. Hollywood has been experimenting with this ideology for a long time; it has just become more blatant today with Obama as President, since he is one of them.
I would think that the liberals would see these e-mails and twitters as ‘hate speech’ since they invented the term and the laws; but apparently, as in all things from the left, it only applies to some. Obama leads the way on exemptions….for those that agree with him..

I got a great idea for a video using Troy Davis yesterday, but I don’t have the time or resources to create it. Maybe someone else can take the idea and run with it…
First, need to investigate and find out Davis’ actual statistics. I’ll use made-up ones here.
Fade-in to a picture of Davis’ mugshot. Have a old-fashioned computer printout showing his stats, overlaid:
Name: Troy Davis
Age at Execution: +42 years
Sex: male
Height: 5’8″
Weight: 180lb
Crime: First Degree Murder of a Police Officer
Then fade it out, and fade in an ultrasound of, say, a 2nd trimester unborn baby. Overlay his/her stats…
Name: None
Age at Execution: -3 months
Sex: Indeterminate
Height: approx 4″
Weight: approx 1.5 oz.
Crime: Was Determined to be Inconvenient.
Then have everything else fade and the word “Inconvenient” slowly expand to fill the screen.
I don’t think that some of these Hollywood people understand that their image is what we pay to see. If their image become disgusting then we don’t pay to see them, and by the way their physical appearence is not what we think of as their image. So when Baldwin and others take a political position, I don’t go see their moves. End of discussion, I would suggest a boycott of Hollywood in general. British and European movies are far better than anything out of LA.
Elvis summed it up best, when asked about the Vietnam war, he said, “Man I don’t know, I am just a singer”.
