Here are your 1 percent-ers: Obama’s bundlers

While the Kamp Alinsky Kids were taunting police officers across the country on Friday night, the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign quietly released its list of the elite deep-pocketed donors who bundled at least $20 million for the White House. I’m publishing the full list below.
Some 41 bundlers bagged more than $500,000 each for Mr. Obama this year. That’s a substantial increase over the 27 who met that threshold last quarter.
The Washington Times broke down geographically where a big chunk of the money came from: Eighty-five bundlers live in California; 41 are from New York City; 27 are from Chicago; and 16 are in Washington, D.C.
Add this to my pre-existing compilation of ultra-rich Americans who are off-limits to the Obama-backed occupiers. See: “An illustrated guide: The homes Kamp Alinsky Kids won’t protest.”

What’s interesting is that it seems all of the contributors are city folk. And with rare exceptions (Dallas, Austin, Louisville, Columbia) all are city folk from Blue States.
I am shocked…..SHOCKED, I tell you….. to not see any contributors from Choctaw, Oklahoma; Blytheville, Ar; Sikeston, Mo.; Wylie, Tx.; Slidell, La.
Author of: The Only Investment Guide You’ll Ever Need. Irony is dead.
BTW Andy, you used to whine on your blog about Reagan, Bush and Bush and how the debt grew on their watches. How’s Obama doing keeping the debt under control? Oh, it’s OK now that it’s a Dem, right?
well i do not know anyone on the lists. i do not hang out with anyone on the list. they are missing something not knowing or hanging out with me. their loss.
still in japan
Well, looks like a wonderful list to connect to Federal funding.
A starting point, anyway.
Excellent Michelle! With all this disinfecting sunlight we’re going to start calling you Mrs. Clean!
The only way this sort of thing will stop is if we vote for individuals with the same sort of ideology as Ron Paul. He wants small, limited government. All the other candidates want the status quo. I would complain about the left and their crony, big spending ways, but the right is not much better. And you know who our nominee is going to be? Mitt Romney! More of the same – wash, rinse, repeat; only with a Republican, a different detergent might be used.
I have an appointment with one of the Bethesda MD’s. Well I had an appointment. As soon as the office opens, I am cancelling it. I don’t need to support that kind of hypocrisy with my money. My wife sees a nice, non-political doctor in Falls Church. Think I’ll try there. Consequences.
Michelle:
How come your not on that list?
Did not examine it too closely, but did not see the Hollyweird crowd there either.
All that money and Obama still sticks us with the bill for his newest campaign bus tour to VA & N.C.
Bundlers are nothing more than individuals who are good at begging for money rather earning it by manufacturing something of value. Then these same people get gov jobs…. based upon what qualifications? The ability to hobnob with elites who want to purchase future loopholes or WH invites? No wonder the economy is in the dumper.
Gotta confess my ignorance.
I did not know that there were this many foolishly, ignorantly dangerous, connected-to-money people; or this many purposefully, intentionally dangerous, connected-to-money people who hated America so much; that they strove to enable America’s destroyers to this degree
And the powers behind ‘OWS’ are feeding us a bundle of manure, it seems
What jumps out at me is how most of the southern cities are state capitals, Dallas and Miami seem to be the stand-out exceptions.
Why would Dallas have such a large number of bundlers when Houston has none?
Just onw more reason the 2012 election is so important. It gives us a chance to vote the B.O. out of D.C.
Boodleicious!
I see flyover country is well represented.
what a shocker that Anna Wintour, Editor of VOGUE, is among his biggest supporters…. No media bias in her rag though I’m sure (oh, unintended pun)… sorry…
We need their addresses so we can post google maps directions and help the Kids find them to bring their message home and provide an opportunity to “reach out like a Republican” without having to leave home. There are so many homes to visit and so little time.
It makes me ill to think that after three years of Obama, we have so many people in this country willing to raise so much money for more of the same.
Is Obama the best that money can buy?
Every penny of government money that goes to these people or companies that they invest in is a bribe. I would love to see the RICO statutes used against these thieves.
Apparently these people are doing well enough in this bad economy that they’re willing to double down on stupid.
I believe that it is the money going to the government officials that is the bribe – not the government money that goes back to the people/companies.
But, I get your point and completely agree.
It’s actually a type of revolving door, a metaphor which Ms. Malkin accurately applies to other aspects(s) of government corruption.
OT but “breaking news” is that Obama is about to “speak about jobs (me, me, me) and the economy (me, me, me)” in NC. Another free campaign speech c/o the MSM that is “carrying the water for the GOP”.
Since the entire world economy has been screwed by the American Democrat Party, it’s all relative, so Obama and Co. are cool.
When Zombies Attack: Protest in Lafayette Park
I see 3 well known democrat crony capitalists from St Louis. In fact Carnahan already received his gubmint spigot in the form of an alternative energy company funded by the gubmint mandated ethanol scam. Abbousie is another well connected group representing the Slay faction of St Louis City politics, where cronyism and nepotism are a way of life. A city of 300,000 residents truly needs 50 aldermen and a school board of thousands, don’tcha know. Of course it is just like every other socialist utopia, they have laws that fence people in and tax them unmercifully if they are stupid enough to do business in St Louis City. The lawyers love it as their jury pool is both stupid and poor looking at lawsuit awards as winning the lottery
I’d like to see an official bundler for the Tea Party. I’d trust the Saracuda to relieve me of some $$$.
There will need to be an army of Elliot Ness’ and Wild Bill Hickcox’ to round up this herd of corruptocats. It’s like a shark feeding frenzy with the globalist Left right now.
Every Liberal crony capitalist is trying to ingratiate themselves to what they see as the coming new world order. They certainly seem to want to be on the safe-bet side of history don’t they? It feels almost desperate. Does that mean they will be the last ones to be hung?
But the Evil Koch brothers…./sarc
To granite, both sides are bribes.
Just consider it before and after laundering.
Your millions to their hundreds (don’t worry they will make up the difference in volume).
Deys po in Hooston! Awl cumpneys ain’t drillin’ now. O’bummer done cut off da guff drillin’, ain’tcha herd?
SJ Lee ain’t ‘fessin’ up no money… she’s with Jesse and wants his gonads in a formaldehyde filled bottle. Oh wait, that was sista Waters, my bad.
Hope all these fat cats are paying their ‘fair share’. Well, apparently, they are. They are paying it to O’Mulligan as opposed to the Treasury.
Ya think O’Mulligan will give all his left over campaign money to the Treasury to pay down the debt HE incurred when he loses or will he just stuff it in suitcases and whistle past the graveyard?
Wow, it looks like there are lots of evil rich liberals in the country too!
And I thought that all of the evil rich people were conservatives…
My CEO is a top bundler.
I seriously feel like quitting.
I’m glad you said that. It’s one thing no one seems to grasp or care about. Starting with Clintoon and Janet, the troll, Reno all this ‘everyone deserves their own house’ whether they can afford it or not crap is what started (at worse) or contributed to (at best) the world economy meltdown. Yes, greece and their wet dream utopia played a big hand in it but who in the world invests in Greece except tourists and our military (if we still have a base going there)?
Fwank, Dood, and the Socialist democrat party put up road block after road block to prevent the corruption of Frank Raines, Jamie Gorlick et al in their stints as CEO of Fannie Mae being made public. Each walked with suitcases full of cash garnered by non GAAP reporting. Enron people served jail time for the same practices. Then again, if memory serves me correctly, Enron people weren’t necessarily members of the elite lib/prog community either.
So yes, I agree the socialist democrats have played a HUGE part in the world economy meltdown.
PS. I didn’t supply references as I am on my way out the door and all of what I said is common knowledge. If anyone (PP) has any doubts, do your own research.
Rich lefties get a pass from the radicals because they are funding their activities. Once the “fat cats” are no longer needed, their wealth would be confiscated too by The People’s Committee. That’s the way it always works.
On October 17th, 2011 at 11:56 am,
Yep.
Those dangerous fools will be the last to be eaten by the crocodile.
And so many, failing to learn from history, willingly repeat the same mistakes.
I see Steve Spinner is now trying to buy his Presidential Pardon, now in the capacity of a $500,000+ bundler.
I wonder how much of that money is from the Solyndra loan?
Glad to see Tom Carnahan (Rep. Russ Carnahan’s brother) was able to raise so much for Obama. I guess Tom, founder of Wind Capital Group, owed Obama big-time for the $107 million he received from the stimulus.
Guess they never saw Doctor Zhivago or read any Solzhenitsyn. They must have decided it would have been disillusioning if they did…better to live the socialist fantasy of “we’ll do it right this time.”
A search on Josephine Weil shows involvement with St. Louis’ New Gateway Mall Conservancy, which is an effort to get PUBLIC and private money to build and maintain the mall.
Bob Clark of St. Louis, MO, founded Clayco, a start up construction company. Linkedin profile here. I wonder how much government business he gets?
Well the company started in 1984. So he was successful for the past 25 years without communist Obama giving him business.
Wish I had the time to research all these people. I wonder how many of them can’t afford to live the life style of the rest of them? Can “bundlers” also be shills for illegal campaign donations? Just askin’….
Judging by the OWS I saw interviewed, it doesn’t seem like they have ever read anything. Every public school teacher in America should be required to take one of them home and feed them until they are employable.
I’m sure he wouldn’t give a rip if you walked out the door…
Married in New York???

You hit the nail on the head. Watch this video to see how the Socialists and Communists at the Occupy Oakland (California) protest “feel” about everybody who has any money or capital.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuFQuEwJ5xI
And this column provides more info about the Marxism on display at the Occupy Oakland protest.

This is a wake up call!
DWI Killers drunken and drug addled son…
I think a better question would be; “How much “stimulas” money, given to “targeted” F.O.O.’s, is returned to Democrats, generally, and Obama, specifically?”
If my premise is true, then the Democrats, through Campaign Finance Law and multiple “stimulas” bills, have created for themselves a taxpayer-funded re-election cashbox for themselves.
Shall we, as jaded American voters, (and taxpayers,) investigate the names on the list to see who among them have been the beneficiaries of Obama’s transfer of wealth scheme, using the stimuli model to do so?
I think it would be time consuming, yet fruitful to look into these people, and then have a “special master” look at their tax return histories. Financial forensics could weed out those in this group that don’t pay their fair share….of Taxes, not re-election funds.

It is established people who usually fund and support the crony system.

Whenever you find a new company getting taxpayer funds like Solyndra, you find a George Kaiser (crony) reaching around from behind to help themselves to those taxpayer $.
Kinda makes one wonder what kind of graft and corruption these folks are in line for as repayment from the Jackass-In-Chief??? You can be certain that the tax payers will be on the hook for said repayment. Can you say Solyndra???
I have stumbled onto a new term:
Let’s see the progressive Americans defend this. Please…explain how this makes America a better country?
The weak and powerless begits the weak and powerless. Yeah, that’s been a winning combination for eons….that is if you don’t believe in the survival of the fittest!
Random thoughts about the list:
I see a prominent politician from New Jersey, a few hollywood types, some trial lawyers from Michigan, a smart African American guy with whom I went to school, and a lot of Jewish sounding names (which I will never understand).
“We the people” get left out in the cold and stuck with the bill because of too much funding from the morally bankrupt bundlers. The rich lefties had better be careful about thinking that they are not going to suffer consequences of the bho class warfare, if OWS gets out of control. Every revolution ate its own except the American Revolution.
Empathetic mofo aren’t you?
Personally, I will go with Ron Paul. I do think his foreign policy reasoning is NOT as bad as his detractors have made out, and no worse what was ultimately decided by Bush II on Iran. The frank fact is that he, at least, understands we are broke.
Normally, the taxpayer DOESN’T get a ‘reach around’ when they are getting screwed.
FiFY Mr Cheese…
Is this a joke? Sounds like a terrorist front. The ‘MD’ could mean ‘mass destruction’.
Regardless, this morally-confused group obviously has more bucks than brains.
If anyone wanted to end the protests with no police intervention or confrontation it is simple. Just set up cell phone jammers in the vicinity…bingo…no more protesters.
Excellent! Mrs. Clean, I love it!!!
I just went online and purchased a new ski mask and gloves
My gut tells me it is getting closer to free TV and Electronics night
I hope they arrive soon, I don’t want to miss the party
Looks like smart money to me.
These folks understand what a typical republican could never understand.
It’s okay to have black skin and be President of the United States.
You people pretend to support this Cain guy, but everyone knows Republicans won’t ever have a black President.
Gonna pick up a few things for Christmas, are we?
I am surprised to see so many Americans of Jewish nationality on the list…are they playing dumb when they see the horrid way in which Obumbler treats Netanyaehu and his call for Isreal to return their land to the so-called Palestinians with the 1967 accords? I wouldn’t give this pResident a dime for a number of reasons, but most certainly for his hostility toward Israel.
Thanks Whirled, let me add that to the list
“Pick up new tree for Christmas”
Might need some help with that one though, darned vaulted ceiling, gotta get a big one
#50 right_on
YES
you said it much better than I articulated it.
I’m going to go out on a limb and make a prediction:
Jon Stewart will NOT hold a “Restore Sanity” rally in response to OWS
I’ve heard via Twitter that Jon Stewart is organizing a “Restore Sanitation” rally.
Pretty hard to reach around when they are bent over with their britches at their ankles, pockets having already been “picked”.
and don’t forget additional tinsel and tree ornaments to match the additional display area of your soon-to-be vaulted ceiling Christmas tree!
By the way, will the lights blink or stay steady?
Yeah man! Hey, I got some beach front property for sale in Arizona. As soon as the polar ice melts, you’ll be on the water front dude! Opportunity knocks on yer hollow head. Don’t miss it.
There were a couple of names with “London” next to them and no state. London, England?? Aren’t foreign donations illegal?
Remember that most of New Orleans is still living in Houston after Katrina. They stayed. Good times.
Read my link @ #23 above. A great summary piece on this issue at Big Government. I have always said that when the Republicans take back the reins of power thwy need to immediatly begin an investigation into the Sub Prime Crisis. A full-on post-mortem forensic accounting needs to be accomplished. I don’t care if it takes 4 years and $100mm dollars. This is an accounting owed America and the entire world. The blood trail should lead directly to indictments of all the major players including scumbags Raines, Gorelick, Frank and Dodd. They will find enough evidence to prosecute a LOT of people.
Bankers may be greedy but they’re not stupid. People high in the Democrat-controlled government apparatus gave the go ahead to “guarantee” any bad loans. Clearly the morons underestimated the gigantic scope of the liability. They thought it would be a sweet little caper that the Dems are famous for. Little did they know. The entire world is now paying the Democrat Party’s filthy bill. The whole miserable ratpack of them should be jailed for life.
I’m quite proud to see not a single AZ contributor on any of those lists, despite the existence of Tucson and U of A.
I do spy with my little eye three Londons, a Shanghai, and even a Puerto Rico, though.
Remember when the Dims were all aflutter about the Chamber of Commerce, because of the possibility of foreign money?
If we know some of these bundlers are outside the US, why can they contribute?
Brown Anthony MD Bowie
I see out Lt. Gov kicked in also. Where is our illustrious Gov.? Martin O’Malley (aka MOM) hasn’t put up yet. Since he is trying to move on up in the political world. Wait until the rest of the country gets to hear MOM’s load of horse hockey spewing from his mouth while watching his beady little eyes.
FYI MOM hasn’t met a tax he didn’t like or a Democrat boot he wouldn’t lick.
