Earlier today…

I’m starting a fresh thread on tonight’s Occupy Oakland “strike.” (Previous post and background here.)

They’ve welcomed the Black Panthers and Communist revolutionary thug Angela Davis, and are currently marching to the Port of Oakland.

Various sympathizers and observers are tweeting live. Mother Jones reports that the Oakland Whole Foods store — after being falsely accused of threatening to punish workers who walked out on the job today — has been vandalized.

One person on scene writes: “Straight into window breaking and street furniture smashing at whole foods. #generalstrike #occupyoaklandwindow breaking and street furniture smashing at whole foods.”

Whole Foods is defending itself online. To no avail.

A big mob dressed in black is roaming around the streets. They’ve sprayed graffiti on the walls of businesses.

Wells Fargo windows have also been reportedly smashed.

Chase Bank vandalized.

Maybe the city enablers will use federal stimulus money to clean it up.

Overheard on livestream: Occupier sneers: “They can afford new windows.”

East Bay Express reports that approximately 75 shoppers were barricaded inside the Whole Foods as protesters threw rocks and smashed the windows.
Livestream here.

I’ll keep you posted as they head to the port.

****

Teamsters are in the house, of course…

Charter buses taking protesters to the Port of Oakland now. One occupier says there about a dozen buses on site. It looks like they are getting police escort…overhead shot via ABC7:

****

A swarm is gathering at the Oakland port:

At 732pm Eastern/432pm Pacific, an ILWU rep just consulted with occupiers at the Port of Oakland on which trucks to blockade. Broadcast here.

Union leaders are coordinating with occupiers to form a picket line that will allow them to turn around and stay in the port while abiding by their contract.

At 824pm Easter/532pm Pacific, the Port Authority has reportedly said that the port is shut down. Protesters have turned back vehicles and are climbing on top of trucks:

Brilliant: Protesters are preventing a trucker dad from picking up his son.

***

9:19pm Eastern/6:19pm Pacific
: Classic. Occupier complains of thirst, complains that businesses are closed, finds food truck, buys cold soda, then proceeds to reprimand other workers for not staying home for the strike.

Priceless.

***

Factions splitting between rabble-rousers who want to mob the Bay Bridge and others waiting around for orders from the union goons.

Sideshow: The guy with the big Gandhi puppet…

***

More ugly Occupy Oakland pictures that won’t make MSM front pages.

***

Update: Midnight. Riot police apparently from Alameda County Sheriff’s office have fired on protesters, tear gas dispersed, warnings issued to leave.

A Mother Jones reporter tweets that “people are throwing firecrackers at the police.” And beer bottles.

Van Jones and Boots Riley approve.

And here are the midnight tweets from worst mayor in America, Oakland’s Jean Quan:

Idiocrat. Reaping what she has sown. Heckuva job, Jeanie.

I don’t condone a violent response here, but a humorous aside: A friend of mine called his giant 4-D Cell Maglite a “Tonk”. Because that’s the sound it makes when crashing off of a human skull.

That said, I do support the use of crowd-control agents, such as tear gas, rubber bullets, firefighting foam (that stuff is slippery!), or special-effects “hurricane fans”.

Oakland going to overt violence first just makes sense, its the home of the Raiders and routine riots and after the protesters got away with reentering the park and thumbing their nose at the world the escalation was only a matter of time.

Innocent people will be hurt but perhaps the National Guard will be called out and by that time (hopefully) most of the nation will have had enough.

But there’s nothing quite like the feel of solid contact between a head and a solid piece of northern white ash. Aluminum just doesn’t compare. The main reason that the bats break so easily is because the shafts are too thin. The players order them custom made that way so that the weight is all in the sweet spot. You can have them custom made by either Adirondack or Louisville Slugger with a thicker shaft so they hold up better for crowd control.

Oh it’s only half of the story. These lummocks are going to put a torch to the wrong truck filled with hazmat. Blinko! All 50 protestors will get taken out. This is such an astroturf fabrication of Nazi-style battering. The protests downtown today were “attended” by people taking time off at noon- and going after work. The rabble is so small in number. Did I say they stink too? The anarchists are out in force but they don’t live here in the Bay Area. A freaky lot— professionally trained. A lot of bravado about working with FARC and MS13 blah blah blah. If I had a nickel for every Palestinian style rag around the neck I’d be richer than Soros. His fingerprints are all over this too. Mayor Qrank is outmaneuvered on this: Oakland schools granted leave with pay to teachers and paid an enormous amount out to subs. All the while, a significant number of kids took the day off— which means federal funds were witheld for each absent kid. DOH!

The Oakland cops are plenty pissed off and overworked. If riots break out, the nation will get a sneak preview of what is coming with the rest of “Occupy” as the hipsters now refer to it. It is a melange of every far left cause now— animal rights, gay and lesbian blah blah blah, trangendered whatever, queer whatever, anti-apartheid, make Van Jones’s crony a member of the Port authority…. every wannabe cause under the sun.

I think this is a tremendous opportunity for the American voter to see what their President supports. The people who voted for Chingama are getting a preview of term 2. And it isn’t pretty. He is not in possession of a single clue or solution as to what to do. He is a third rate politician in an overpriced suit. His methadone addiction is showing through. And the Chinese are playing him like a fiddle in Cannes. “Them Greeks don’t want to freaks!”

Beck called every drop of this fruitless political charade. By the time President Chingama rides in on his white horse to calm the masses, he will be reduced to a charlatan on a pygmy pony. A parody of his absurd Marxist self. He may know exactly what he is doing but he forgot that 50 plus per cent of the population is armed— and if that rabble comes up yonder, it will be double tap time. Anarchize that.

The cops are not on board with this mess. At some point Mayor Qrank is going to have to fight for her own political survival or step down. At that point- and it is near at hand, the party will be over. Union money or not, they cannot sustain their position.

The kiddies are not willing to die.

And when it comes down to President Chingama’s agenda it boils to one question: “Who dies first, y’all?”

Stay tuned. The opportunity to destroy the Democratic Party will come soon enough. Has anyone heard a peep out of Howard Deano lately?

LMAO. Gimme your best donkey squeal.

Are we all just waiting for what we know is coming? A black thug, gets shot and killed after attacking someone they thought was defenseless…violent riot ensues, intertwined with the protest after “a certain black leader” claims that “police are targeting black youth for no good reason.”

La Raza buses in their own do-rag-nasties to “do it” to the white man, and the businesses that prey on the poor Latino community.

Anarchists, faces covered, and dressed in black and red clothing, start launching molotov cocktails from the protection of the back of the crowd, setting fellow protestors on fire…but continue anyway, ’cause watching burning people “is cool”…and since they don’t know those people, who cares?

Teamster pot-bellies bum-rush police opposition, wielding clubs and baseball bats, and hit anyone within their reach.

Opportunistic radical college students break into businesses, and steal everything not nailed down.

Police fire on looters, killing and wounding many. They get fired upon from the back of the crowd, and return fire, killing several more protestors.

Barbara Lee, Sheila Jackson Lee, Cynthia McKinney, and the hag from LA, Maxine Waters, appear on national and local television, condemning the police attack on innocent black kids who just happened to be at the scene, watching.

The President reacts: “The Police acted stupidly, and will be held accountable for those senseless murders!”

Isn’t this kinda the way it always plays out?

Depends if your state has a “Castle Doctrine” or not. The doctrine states that you can protect your property, just as a castle, with deadly force if necessary. Here in MN, naturally, we don’t have it. However, I can buttstroke a punk into submission drag his/her butt into my home , then shoot them(hypothetically, of course)

In Oakland it is virtually illegal to shoot someone who is vandalizing your property. If they are trying to kill it seems that we are no longer able to make that decision our selves. Apparently we supposed DIE.

Next to them, are little signs showing a silhouette target with two gunshots to the head, and five in the chest. Below the target it reads: “Nothing inside worth dying for.”

If Oakland wants an all-out general strike/shutdown perhaps they should get it. That would include the shutdown of all electricity and water/sewage/ supplies/services. Let it happen…please! If they want no Internet/cell phones to coordinate their actions (and check in with Mommy) and if they want to live in filth and squalor without fresh food or working toilets, let them! Better they learn on a small scale by their own actions than on a large scale by necessity. Let them learn…PLEASE!!! Hopefully they will gain an education and just go home and back to work like a normal, well-functioning community does.

David…I LIKE the way you think!!

Remember folks, each state has its own laws, as it should be. And each state has the right to call out the National Guard and declare Martial Law. The federal govmt. needs to stay out of this. The states that are having the problems are the states who are in charge of fixing them. We must not abdicate the States Rights to the Feds. They have hijacked enough of them already!

If the states use their Constitutional rights to take care of these idiots, then Obama will have NO POWER to declare martial law on the whole country or to cancel elections. Just remember that. STATES RIGHTS BABY!!

If the definition of terrorism is engaging in activities that are intended to cause fear or terror in the widespread public, then I suppose the shoe fits pretty well. But Obama’s too busy trying to watch those dastardly war veterans and give amnesty to mexican drug cartel members.
