Newsflash: Shootings reported at Virginia Tech; reports – police officer shot/dead?, at least one other victim

Suspect description here:

Suspect described as white male, gray sweat pants, gray hat w/neon green brim, maroon hoodie and backpack. On foot towards McComas. Call 911

Students have been advised to stay inside.

Prayers for everyone on that campus, which has known great suffering at the hands of an unhinged gunman before.

Update via VTNews: “A police officer has been shot. A potential second victim is reported at the Cage lot. Stay indoors. Secure in place.”

Reports that the officer is dead and that initial shooting took place at a traffic stop.

Latest from Reuters via Michael van Poppel/@BreakingNews – “At least two dead.”

Via police scanner feed and local news, situation regarding suspects being apprehended is hazy. Possible shots fired at Johnson Hall involving female student.
