Pelosi Doubles Down: Gingrich Won’t Be Elected — There is Something I Know

By Doug Powers  •  January 24, 2012 11:06 PM

**Written by Doug Powers

In December, Nancy Pelosi was bragging about having dirt on Newt Gingrich. Shortly after that, she backed off.

As evidenced by an appearance with CNN’s John King, Pelosi wants to once again play the “inside information” game and can’t contain herself:

Pelosi: “He’s not going to be President of the United States. That’s not going to happen. Let me just make my prediction and stand by it, it isn’t going to happen.”

King: “Why are you so sure?”

Pelosi: “There is something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that’s their prerogative. I don’t even think that’s going to happen.”

Geez… did something happen on the global warming couch that we don’t yet know about?

You have to watch the video to capture the full glory of Pelosi’s giddy, sophomoric attitude. She behaves like a high schooler who found the letterman jacket of the opposing school’s quarterback in the back seat of the car of the girl who beat her out for homecoming queen — and is dying to tell somebody about it just before the game.

I figured Newt making the global warming commercial with her would have been a showstopper for any future presidential ambitions. But now I imagine the easily lead GOP faithful will take Pelosi’s attack as proof the dems are afraid of Newt, and thus, they will redouble their efforts to make Newt the flag bearer this November. This should be fun to watch.

Newt is a politician. Good politicians lie cheat and steal to get elected. Thats what they have to do. The ones who don’t are not elected and therefore not politicians any more.

Pander, tell different audiences what they want to hear. When challenged on previous contradictions, claim they were taken out of context and tell the current group what they want to hear.

Thats the only way you can appeal to a large enough swath of the American public to be elected to National office. It’s politics, Newt and Nancy are experienced politicians. They know.

I would have thought the following would have been enough:

    1) He sat on the couch with Nancy
    2) He believes in man made global warming
    3) He has repeatedly said the politician he most admires is FDR.
    4) He savaged Paul Ryan over his budget propsal.

We have two moderates trying to convince the base they are conservatives. In the meantime the RNC and the elites have pummeled and destroyed every conservative that has gained any popularity.

I am at the point where I believe that the day after the 2012 election the Tea Party needs to walk and form a third party. Why not? The only things the RNC and DNC have in common are their lust for power and hatred of the Tea Party,

we have no dog in a fight.

We want a fighter and we need one to go up against Obama. He is a fighter. He learned the Alynsky way and it works to some extent. Newt knows this. Romney does not. We liked when Newt hit the media. He can’t do that forever though. We need someone to fight and expose the untruths told by the other fighter in the ring, Obama, and to advocate a conservative view with vigor.

Obama has the MSM weight behind him so we must throw flurrys of punches, counter punches, keep moving, attack his weak spots, work his gut over and over till he is weakened. Then throw the knockout punch. Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?

I like Mitt as a person. He is very amicable and likable. He doesn’t appear to have immoral baggage. He doesn’t know how to fight though and he is not armed with the correct philosophy. He can still change.

If he would abandon the moderate approach and go toe to toe with Obama on conservative v liberal policies, he would do much better. And he is already a front runner. I am not sure he will get it though. He still defends Romneycare. That was is a major mistake.

This was a trumpted up bunch of BS due to Gingrich’s attack on the ethics of Jim Wright, the former speaker on real ethics charges. If the American people hear what this is about, Gingrich is a shoe in.

Anybody here listen to Glenn Beck this AM? His take on the SOTU address: oblamo wants to cut back on the powers of the other 2 branches of government, and give the El Presidente position more autonomous authority. So the wheels of justice and fairness can go fast, rather than turning slow, like the Forefathers had planned. That was set in place to protect the newly formed America from becoming a dictatorship…. well, folks, I do believe it’s here.

All of you who will not vote for the final candidate left standing for the Republicans will be voting for oblamo and his socialist schtick. he is ready to ride roughshod all over you and me, no matter HOW you VOTED. You and I are toast.
