As we prepare to watch President Obama lambaste Republicans for obstructionism in his State of the Union address tonight, remember:

Obama said a lot of really great things last night. He made some good promises. He said he would open up drilling in the Gulf. He said, blah, blah, blah.
It is what he does, not what he says!
Everything he SAID he would do was to appease the independents. He will not DO them. The only thing he said he would do and will follow through with is raise taxes on the rich and form hundreds of new government departments and committees.
His speech was hollow and meaningless.
A couple new threads this a.m. and I am going over there.
Here is an example of Obamas deception. He stated that Warren Buffett’s secretary paid more tax than the billionaire Buffet. Absolutely not true. O’liar knows it too but stated it that way to lend an impression that the tax code is unfair.
A billionaire will pay way more taxes than a secretary unless all his investments lost moeny or he was fully invested in tax free muni bonds. We know neither is true.
The truth may be that Buffetts overall rate is lower because he has no working income, just investment income, but I guarantee you he paid more in overall dollars than she did. A bunch more.
Deception. An Obama trademark. Just say anything. The media will cover for you.

One thing I took away was that Obama wants to change the rules of the Senate, the constitution, everything to get his way.
He does not mention that instead of changing the rules of our country, he should be the one compromising to get things done. Thats how normal people think. If I can’t get you to join me, I don’t just change the rules to force you to. I moderate my position to the point where I can get something done.
If Congress doesn’t like my judicial nominee, I don’t change the rules to force them to, I nominate one that is palatable to all. The people in Congress were elected too. Their opinion counts just as much.
He doesn’t believe that. He really thinks his ideas are the only ones that are any good and everyone must bend to his will, period. Much like a dictator thinks, or a baby.
