    The Nevada Geothermal problems seemed obvious when I Googled their operation. Far more complex low temperature turbine machinery running on steam sources that tend to clog up the heat exchangers that move heat from mineral laden ground water to clean turbine steam loops. Lots of arterial sclerosis problems in these systems.

    But the major problem with all of The Good Comrade’s work is that it ignores the basic free market laws of business. Any energy sources that need subsidies to be “profitable” and to “compete” with far better and more reliable sources should never be built.

    They are teaching the ignorant young in schools that our Navy is a “subsidy” for Big Oil, and if we weren’t “subsidizing” oil companies our oil would be $7 a gallon like Finland or someplace (which they also think would be a good thing.)
