Global Warmists Seek to Flush Out ‘Denier’ Meteorologists

The ultimate goal is to clone Al Gore to serve as a weatherman at every local television station so he can offer the patented Hypocrite-Cast® nightly, but that can’t happen if there are still global warming deniers allowed on the air:
The Forecast the Facts campaign — led by 350.org, the League of Conservation Voters and the Citizen Engagement Lab — is pushing for more of a focus on global warming in weather forecasts, and is highlighting the many meteorologists who do not share their beliefs.
“Our goal is nothing short of changing how the entire profession of meteorology tackles the issue of climate change,” the group explains on their website. “We’ll empower everyday people to make sure meteorologists understand that their viewers are counting on them to get this story right, and that those who continue to shirk their professional responsibility will be held accountable.”
According to the Washington Post, the reason for the campaign can be found in a 2010 George Mason University surveys, which found that 63% of television weathermen think that global warming is a product of natural causes, while 31% believe it is from human activity.
So far, the campaign has identified 55 “deniers” in the meteorologist community and are looking for more. They define “deniers” as “anyone who expressly refutes the overwhelming scientific consensus about climate change: that it is real, largely caused by humans, and already having profound impacts on our world.”
This seems incredibly counter-productive, because the more successful they are in adding names to the ever-growing meteorologist denier list, the faster the notion of “scientific consensus” goes out the window.

The climate Nazi’s are getting desperate in the face of mounting evidence that climate change is a liberal hoax. These people will lie a million times thinking that the lie will become the truth. Not with the internet it wont. Liberals around the world are all alike; believing in fairy tales, bullying those with differing opinions (that are actually based on facts), knowing most of the lapdog media lets them get away with it. Perhaps this is too negative, but I must admit that I truly despise these ignorant immoral people.

I’m sure anyone today that is graduating from any university with a degree in meteorology believes in man-made global warming.
It’s a condition of receiving their sheepskin.

Empower? I think they mean brainwash. All I count on my TV meteorologists to get right is today’s, and maybe tomorrow’s, forecast. And then I step outside to see how close they are.

When I tune into the weather report; I just want to know if the sky will stay clear or will it drip or drop stuff. If I wanted preaching, I’d find one of those televangelists. Where is the hippy-dippy weatherman when you need him? (I miss you, George)

Weather is not climate. Most people don’t live long enough to need to know about any change in a climate.
Oh, by all means, name names. I for one would like to know if my local weather girl is a reliable source of weather news and not just cleavage-bouncing eye candy.
The British Met Office and East Anglia Climatic Research Unit came out this past week with a prediction that the Thames River would be freezing over again, thanks to a new mini-ice age we are currently experiencing! (Google it up, published in the Daily Mail).
And the Environazis here are still building blacklists of “deniers”? LOL!
Well, at least they are consistent in one respect: whether its a mini-ice-age in the 70′s, the fading Global Warming–er–Climate Change of the past decade, or the next “ice age” ascending—the “solutions” are always the same: more global socialism.

Don’t these ding dongs realize that the weather in our states make a statement, not some bore like telling us we are doomed if the polar bear(undable to get a ice cube to hang on) that will be in our neightborhood is a few weeks? “Overwhelming scientific consensus”?? These democrats are amazing. They insist on demonstrating their ignorance time and time again by continually peddling bad science and now they are on a Stalin-like witch hunt to purge “deniers”, even after their view of the climate has be totally debunked by clean, unaltered evidence. What chutzpah!
San Diego is much the same. I can still hear the daily weather report from when I was a kid: “Early morning low clouds burning off by noon.” This was followed by the surf report: “Three-foot swells at ten second intervals.” Almost every day.
I guess the globe wasn’t warming back then…
Global warming is a hoax/fraud. Its main objectives are the control of the masses by self appointed “smart” people and re-distribution of wealth. Libtards will fall for anything. Ever read anything about the weather in the 1700-1800′s in the US? It sounds pretty much like the weather today. Hot for awhile, then mild, then cold etc. etc. Of course, according to the UN if we will spend 78 Trillion dollars maybe we can prevent something that is not happening in the first place. Sounds like a good plan to me!
BTW my local weatherman is pretty good. He can usually get todays weather correct as well as tomorrows. Anything past that and it is just guessing. Predicting what the weather would be a month, year, decade or more in the future would be less accurate than my sportscaster predicting who will win the Super Bowl next year, 10 years etc., down the road. To many variables in weather and sports to see the future. Even Yoda had trouble doing it!
Instead of flushing out the deniers, why don’t they compare their research and have a debate? The only thing settled about this science is that it is like all other science, nothing is never settled. Science only takes us to a consensus about what is the best answer…for now… until a better answer is found.
Because it isn’t about truth or facts. It’s about power. As has been noted many times, the “green” movement is the new home of the CPUSA. The rhetoric may have changed, but the goals haven’t.
Remember back in Dec 2006, the Weather Channel’s little nazi, Heidi Cullen, wanted the American Meteorological Society to revoke their “Seal of Approval” from any television weatherman who expresses skepticism that human activity is creating a climate catastrophe?
Is she involved with this very similar veture?
After some searching and finding the list, I saw that at least one of them was let go from his station just this month. Baltimore’s Justin Berk did not get his contract renewed.

It was a communist plot when I first heard of it as global cooling / coming ice age in `69 and it still is. Same players, only the name of the game has changed !

In their minds, consensus isn’t about quantity, it’s about quality. But they get to define what “quality” means. So, even if they end up with more meteorologists on the denier list than on the consensus list, they’ll still claim an overwhelming consensus on their side. How? Because they will argue in a circular fashion that only those who support “the cause” are smart enough to understand the issue and therefore everyone on their denier list is not qualified to have a vote.
Most of the earth is uninhabitable due to extreme cold. Look at most of Canada and Russia, as well as the Artic and Antartica. So, on the whole, global warming would be a good thing, if it were to happen at all.
Secondly, considering we had an ice age thousands of years ago, it must of gotten extremely warm for said ice to disapper. So, in other words, there have been periods of intense cold and intense heat even before industrial development by mankind took hold.
Actually, this really isn’t the case.
Most of the Earth is uninhabitable due to extreme humidity.
(The Earth is, after all, 2/3 covered by water).

The Forecast the Facts campaign, and its advocates, are in a panic because there is too much resistance to their climate change agendas.
Yet their purported goal(s) is/are to implement controls and regulations to recreate the climate of 200 +/- years ago. Wouldn’t that be climate change?
So it’s going to be science by monkey pile. Science is not a democratic process where issues are settle by majority vote.
Also, why is “science” being “settled” by political means rather than appealing to the science community? If they are so sure of their conclusions, why not open up the process and data to everyone? Oh yeah, they destroyed much of the data.
What I despise most about these nazis is their product being forced on us citizens, and being forced to pay for such an obvious hoax.
I work in an organization which has a significant number of meteorologists. Many are very skeptical of Gorebull warming, with the exception of those clearly liberal. Liberals being loudmouth whiners means many who are skeptical, are quietly skeptical depending on the audience.
About the time when Climategate was hitting it’s peak, the University of Colorado for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), which provides a lot of training for other meteorologists quickly put out a lengthy video. It was a vain attempt at making excuses for what was exposed by the Climategate emails, and included a few outright lies…lies that were proven to be lies by the data released within the previous couple months.
Having nothing to do with meteorology meant nothing. Everybody in the organization was mandated to view this video. I am amazed it never got more publicity for it being so one-sided and an obvious attempt at rescuing the on-going scam. I expected Inhofe would be digging into it demanding to know why so much tax money was wasted on it shortly after the Climategate fiasco became known.
I also expected it to show up as a featured video in schools across the country.

Funny how the Earth just isn`t interested in cooperating with these fraudulent climate scientists ….. Alaska is breaking cold and snowfall records and NC is having an unusually warm winter after they just released the “truth” about their flawed climate-predictive models. It`s been cooling for 15 years ….
Yesterday, there was a report of extra and some new bugs hatching out early and showing up around homes this spring because there wasn`t enough freezing weather to kill them.

You can’t even have a discussion with these fanatics. My son-in-law is a screaming liberal and when I say screaming, that’s what I mean.
