Non-shocker of the morning: Soros monkeys coordinate with Democrats

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 13, 2012 10:03 AM

It’s always useful to have more confirmation of the gobsmackingly obvious. The Daily Caller provides a deeper glimpse into the Soros-backed Media Matters/Democrat propaganda machine.

Before we get to that, recall that I posted an e-mail last week showing how the Soros monkeys coordinated with Capitol Hill “allies” on Keystone XL.

I’ve also noted how a former Media Matters researcher spearheaded dirty tricks for Sen. Charles Schumer’s Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee several years back.

The Media Matters sycophants have repeatedly attacked the few reporters digging intrepidly into the Fast and Furious scandal.

And I’ve covered former White House communications adviser Anita Dunn’s war on Fox News — Media Matters’ Public Enemy Number One — in-depth on this blog.

TheDC adds more pieces to the coordination puzzle:

A group with the ability to shape news coverage is of incalculable value to the politicians it supports, so it’s no surprise that Media Matters has been in regular contact with political operatives in the Obama administration. According to visitor logs, on June 16, 2010, Brock and then-Media Matters president Eric Burns traveled to the White House for a meeting with Valerie Jarrett, arguably the president’s closest adviser. Recently departed Obama communications director Anita Dunn returned to the White House for the meeting as well.

It’s not clear what the four spoke about — no one in the meeting returned repeated calls for comment — but the apparent coordination continued. “Anita Dunn became a regular presence at the office,” says someone who worked there. Then-president of Media Matters, Eric Burns, “lunched with her, met with her and chatted with her frequently on any number of matters.”

Media Matters also began a weekly strategy call with the White House, which continues, joined by the liberal Center for American Progress think tank. Jen Psaki, Obama’s deputy communications director, was a frequent participant before she left for the private sector in October 2011.

Every Tuesday evening, meanwhile, a representative from Media Matters attends the Common Purpose Project meeting at the Capitol Hilton on 16th Street in Washington, where dozens of progressive organizations formulate strategy, often with a representative from the Obama White House.

In the past several years, Media Matters has focused much of its considerable energy on the Fox News Channel. The network, declares one internal memo, “is the de facto leader of the GOP and it is long past time that it was treated as such by the media, elected officials, and the public.” At the end of September 2009, Burns made the case publicly in an interview on MSNBC.

Fox, he said, “is a political organization, and their aim is to destroy a progressive policy agenda.”

Less than a month later, in language that could have been copied directly from a Media Matters press release, White House communications director Anita Dunn leveled almost precisely the same charge, dismissing Fox as “more a wing of the Republican Party.”

From the Soros monkeys’ keyboards to Obama’s mouthpieces’ mouths…

Knowing how the messaging machine works is important. But I think it’s the policy coordination between Team Obama and Team Soros that deserves more scrutiny.

As I’ve noted before, several Soros-backed Center for American Progress operatives have traveled through the White House revolving door — subverting transparency, targeting conservative political dissenters, and crafting policies that undermine our economy and free speech.

How many more?

Now we have Murdoch, Fox, (and likely other Conservative media) under direct political assault by the Obama Justice Department. This is classic Communist insurgent military doctrine. Demand that your Congressional reps hound these street rats until they back off.

I have been thinking more and more about what my Patriot ancestors did in fighting the American Revolution. Back in October, we went on a “pilgrimage” of sorts, visiting the historic places in Boston and also the graves of our amazing forefathers…John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, etc. We also went to Lexington and Concord and walked over the Old North Bridge and strolled on the Battle Green where the Revolution began.

Since that unbelievably inspiring trip, I get goosebumps, even reading Longfellow’s poem The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere. That war and what they went through is SO REAL TO ME!

Right now as I am typing this, I again have chills running down my spine. We are in a very similar situation today.

I’m not going to say, “this won’t end well” because I know my history. The American Revolution was horrible, but it ENDED WELL!!

    ***
When you read this list again you can clearly see where Comrade Obama and His Ilk have crossed the line on some of the items already. They kind of like King George’s style!
    ***
I lived in the Boston area (Maldon) in 1969. I visited all the historical sites in the area–Lexington / Concord, Breed’s Hill, Old North Church, Paul Revere’s house, Boston Common, the graveyard where many of the Boston Patriots are buried. Some of the tombstone dates indicate that some young men died or were killed during the Revolutionary War period.
    ***
I got a real feeling of respect for these brave people then. They took on the world’s superpower and beat them. I also visited the U.S. Constitution in the Navy Yard. It hadn’t been built in the war years, but was used in the early 1800′s against the British and the Barbary Pirates. Our early Presidents knew how to handle Muslim pirates and other enemies of our country then. Not so much now. The enemy of our freedom is inside the wire now–I think their leader lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. now.

I guess they have a right to feel confident…they did put an inexperienced, accomplish-less, figurehead into the White House, with ample use of distraction, lies, and media manipulation…and, they actually infatuated the American “fair play” crowd with a fresh black face, and got them to cast their votes for their sock puppet.

If as conservatives the best we can do is be gloomy and doomy, well who in the blazes would want to be one of those?

Best example I can give you is Rush Limbaugh. He is a realist. He is also positive.

Obama is a blip in centuries of history and what will be centuries of more history to come.

The chicken little stuff while sounding all dramatic and insightful it soon sounds nothing but silly.

How did folks react to that pastor what’s his name that predicted the end of the world?

Also it gives Obama too much credit. The doom and gloom stuff acts as if the American people and the foundation of our country are unable to sustain any kind of bad leadership.

And the very people who decry the media’s salesmanship of Obama are the very people who have seemed to swallow that media sales job hook like and sinker.

What we see is NOT what is happening. The country is not leftist and some Obama goon squad is not about to knock on your door.

Get busy for conservatives in your area, conservative causes, get yourself and like minded people to the polls or vote early in November.

We are going to have a great election!

Yeah, Jerry Rivers or maybe Shep Smith. Someone who pretends to be “fair and balanced” but can’t help showing their true colors! The obvious ones like Beckel and Colmes are probably just liberal idiots that FOX hired to show how nutty liberals really are. Another one who comes to mind is Kirsten Powers. She is nuts sometimes and reasonable other times. She seems to go in streaks. I think she starts sounding too liberal, so she pulls back. Then she starts sounding too logical (i.e. conservative) so she pulls back on that.

Happy, I noticed those eyes a couple of years ago and pointed out in a comment here at MM that they look empty and dead; exactly like the eyes that so many of the barbarian, savage, jihadi, rage-boy muslims have.
Naturally, one or two of the resident opposite-worldview holders here at MM at that time ridiculed that comment; but, who gives a flying f*@% about what the OWVHers think?

js, do you perhaps miss one reason people on this blog so strongly submit their feelings, and beliefs to their fellow conservatives? It’s not lost on me.

I don’t see it as re-telling, or anguishing about “doom and gloom” as you put it, but rather embracing the fellowship of like-minded individuals, and being comforted knowing that they are not the only ones who have grave concerns for our country.

That is the foundation of brotherhood. We know that a better, stronger America is in our future, as long as we remain vigilant, positive, and adhere to the blueprint of liberty called The Constitution.

At the same time, if we forget about the darkness that lurks within the hearts of some men, we risk losing liberty, and freedom for our posterity that we all cherish.

If you are fearful about the dark days ahead, that’s your deal…regardless of your level of fear or lack thereof, your fear doesn’t determine our future or our brotherhood. But truly, arguing about whether dark days are ahead or not isn’t the real issue is it?

Fact: Obama has a close, personal relationship with Soros.
Fact: John Kerry had a political fundraising relationship with Soros.

This is from an article written by Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media, written in 2004:
…”What would Soros demand from a Kerry Administration in return for his backing of Kerry and the Democratic Party? A possible answer is continued lax or absent oversight and scrutiny from the SEC. In fact, one of the Soros companies is a member of the Managed Funds Association, which describes itself as “the global voice for the hedge fund industry,” and is now actively fighting an SEC proposal to impose more regulation on hedge-fund managers. The MFA represents 34 hedge funds that manage some $800 billion.

Some of the biggest Kerry supporters and fundraisers are hedge-fund managers. They include Orin Kramer, a partner at Kramer Spellman LP, a New York-based hedge fund, and James Chanos, the President of Kynikos Associates. Chanos was one of several wealthy Kerry backers who attended a New York Kerry fundraiser in the Park Avenue apartment of Blair Effron, vice-chairman of UBS Investment Bank. The Wall Street Journal noted that Kerry Is “courting” the super-rich while “using populist corporate-bashing rhetoric to woo the party’s liberal base?” The super-rich includes Soros.”

Obama, everyone in his administration and democrats only care about money and power and how to get it and how to keep it. Our country, our sovereignty, our liberty, our Consistitution mean absolutely nothing to them.
