Joe Biden: Americans are Tired of Being Tired
**Written by Doug Powers
Out: Recovery Summer. In: Recovery Slumber.
Sheriff Joe Biden feels your fatigue:
President Barack Obama’s fiscal year 2013 budget proposal includes a new $8-billion Community to Career fund to forge partnerships between community colleges and businesses to provide training for workers.
“Americans are tired of being tired,” Joe Biden said. “It’s clear that the American people have decided it’s time to get up. They’re tired of being told that we’re in a long, slow drift.”
This from the guy who has been helping force feed the economy Ambien these past three-plus years? But hopefully Biden’s partially correct, and on November 6th Americans do decide it’s time to get up, and do so en masse.
Biden’s tour to promote the proposed $8 billion fund for community colleges comes just a couple of weeks after he admitted that government subsidies increase the overall cost of college tuition. Go figure.
Just to hammer home his point that Americans are tired, Biden made sure the backdrop for his speech fit perfectly with the theme:

If this guy’s got a sleep disorder, he’s going to the right place for the remedy. Maybe this is a solutions-based part of Obamacare we can all embrace.
did he get back from road island already? and yes, i am tired, tired of his buddies administration!
I sure hope bho doesn’t have any plans to dump dear joe for vp, he is a gift that keeps on giving!

letget,
Agreed; Biden is the only source of occasional truth from this admin. !
I`m “sick” and tired of being sick and tired !
This guy’s dad is going to beat him with a coffee cup for this!
Think of it as The American Inner Spring.
Clearly the govt. should move in to help solve this problem. Start with a blue ribbon commission to study people who are tired of being tired, set up programs to help the afflicted, maybe a czar or two to help implement the programs, plus another to find out why the plan isn’t working and there are more tired people than ever. Finally, taxes on those not tired because that would be more fair.
Biden takes incoherence to a whole new level.
I could NEVER sit behind Biden during one of his moronic speeches. I would either fall asleep, or jump up and throttle him!! My sympathies to that guy in the back. He is now being laughed at, and it could happen to anyone!
“Stand up, Chuck, let ‘em see ya.”
Joe needs a Press Secretary.
The American’s that are tired dear joe, are the lucky ones who have a job or two or three to pay for all the krap bho, you, and d’s(and yes some r’s) have put on us to keep our heads above water and pay bills! We hope come Nov. 2012, we all can take a small break and relax a bit with someone new to try and un-do this mess?

As President would you let this numbnutz represent you and the country to China?
Only if you didn’t care how stupid he makes you look I guess.
Biden couldn’t fix an empty piss pot much less do anything that doesn’t make his problem obvious.
Well here is dear hill at it again! And she wants bho and dear joe to be re-elected for four more years does she?
This will make you want to throw up!

Is Gaff McGillicuddy talking about the 2% of American’s that are footing the bill for those on welfare/unemployment/disability/and,illegal aliens, or is he referring to those tired union thugs/anarchists/socialists/other assorted whiners protesting the unfairness that is America, and who have worked tirelessly to make sure the United States becomes dis-united, angry, morally and financially bankrupt?
This goes hand in hand with Moochelle’s opinionated quip that American’s are basically lazy. Gosh, if people just worked as hard as she and her has-been, er, husband…! They’ve earned those multiply vacations/get-aways/diplomatic junkets (hack!), at tax payer expense, can’t we see that?

Oh yeah, baby!
OT:
Film review: Act of Valor
I would highly recommend Act of Valor to everyone else. There are not a whole lot of movies coming out of Hollywood that tell these stories or celebrate those virtues — in fact, there are damn few of these, just as there are damn few of these men. We need to flock to the theaters to support those that do get made, and to show our appreciation for the men who made this one. And fortunately for us, we get to see an excellent and moving film, too.

From Joe’s mouth to the God’s ear, let’s pray!
Just a little while ago, @ijustine tweeted how much she loved this new tv show (on showtime, red flag time) called “Homeland”.
In the current episode, it seems, a CIA operative suspects a marine sergeant, who was MIA, of having turned for Al Qaeda.
I like ijustine, but at times like this I worry about her.
On “Castle” awhile back, they devoted multiple episodes to pursuing a possible terrorist with a nuke. Turns out it was U.S. ex-soldiers coercing a moslem to help them, to get us upset about 9/11 again.
Television is continuing to slander our military in this not-so subtle way. It’s the same kind of bs that in the past has been used to brainwash entire generations into leftist-think.
I wonder how they’ll edit “for content” Act of Valor once it reaches the small screen…
Well, on top of the entertainment leftists trashing our military, at the same time they avoid nasty reprisals from minority groups and of the “religion of peace”. Much easier to slander the military, conservatives, christians and white men in general. They don’t tend to retaliate.
You are right. Virtue of any kind is an antithesis to our entertainment elite.
I have sleep apnea, and utilize a CPAP machine nightly.
It has greatly improved the quality of my life.
On long driving trips (yes, when I’m on the mainland), to ensure that I don’t fall asleep at the wheel during a long stretch, I keep a pair of tweezers on the dashboard.
A couple of nosehairs plucked, and you’re good for another 2 hours.
Try some Geritol, crazy Uncle Joe! And to those “tired” and “lazy” folks sitting around watching tv munching on their food stamp provided snacks, a new administration just might be the answer to your malaise.
I drive extensively. Since your condition precludes the best thing (good rest), try this:
hydrate a lot (and go to the bathroom often). Long deserted highways with no restroom access are not ideal for this.
At any rate, stretching your legs every 30 minutes or so is beneficial.

He’d be blind as well as dumb.
I still see old jokes about how stupid Bush was. Obowmao and Biteme are comedy gold but all you are ever going to hear about that is crickets chirping. Could you imagine if Bush 2 had done the 57 states blunder? We would have never, ever heard the end of it.
I’m tired of being told by members of the administration that I’m tired of being tired…
This occurred to me the other day:
Picture Biden as Beavis and Obama as Butthead.
It works all too well.
I’m not tired of being told that America is in a long, slow drift. I have no disdain for being told the truth, no matter how unpleasant it is. What I am tired of is this administration forcing America to endure a long, slow drift, while telling us that everything is just gonna be so great.
Jay Carney as Stuart (the perpetually frightened-looking kid with the Winger t-shirt).
And, they gave Dan Quayle the dunce-rush for correcting a kids answer at a spelling bee?
If we were having an Idiot Contest, with the highest score getting the cup for the dumbest comments/opinions/policies, the totals would be staggering:
Dem’s: 666 pts (The Devil’s in the details.)
Repub’s: 1 pt.
And he wasn’t the one that made the error in the first place.
Wait a sec….This is one time Biden actually told the truth. We are tired, tired of HIM!! Jeez, he just doesn’t get it. As others have said, if a Repub said the stupid things Obeyme and Biden have said, we’d never hear the end of it. I swear, every press outlet carried the crying Boehner story for weeks!!!
