Well, Congress passed the health care law, and contrary to Nancy Pelosi’s assurances, Kathleen Sebelius still doesn’t know what’s in it. That, however, isn’t delaying Obamacare’s expected arrival at the Supreme Court, where Team Obama will pull out all the stops.

From the New York Times:

The White House has begun an aggressive campaign to use approaching Supreme Court arguments on the new health care law as a moment to build support for the measure seen as President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, hoping to shape public opinion on an issue at the center of the battle for the White House and Congress.

On Wednesday, White House officials summoned dozens of leaders of nonprofit organizations that strongly back the health law to help them coordinate plans for a prayer vigil, press conferences and other events outside the court when justices hear arguments for three days beginning March 26.

It’s possible that the health care bill is the reason Democrats lost the House in 2010, and those up for re-election will be very wary of the subject this year. Also, Obamacare is hurting the president in swing states, and 53% favor repeal vs. 42% who oppose. Given those factors, at this point we can’t be positive if the gathered throng at the vigil will be instructed to pray for the Supreme Court to uphold the law, or strike it down.
