Pelosi’s Advice to GOP: Free your party from the extremists who took my gavel!

In the spirit of bipartisanship, Nancy Pelosi is advising the Republicans to purge their party of self-centered, greedy ideologues who dare to believe that government shouldn’t have its snout in every single nook and cranny of our lives:
“I say to my Republican friends, and I do have many, ‘Take back your party, this is the Grand Old Party,’” Pelosi said. “Take it back from extremists who are taking it over the edge, anti-government ideologues who really don’t believe in a public space.”
Today’s Republicans don’t believe in government’s role in the fundamental functions of government, Pelosi added, making it hard to find common ground. “There’s never a chance to find common ground on issues like clean air, clean water, food safety, public safety, public health, medicare, medicaid, social security, because they don’t believe in a public role there,” she stated.
During Pelosi’s tenure as Speaker, the national debt rose $5.2 trillion (to pay for “crown jewels” and whatnot) — that’s “taking it over the edge” and “extremist.”
Because Pelosi was so generous in offering advice to the Republicans, the RNC Chair returned the favor and let Nancy know what she could do to raise the approval rating of Congress.
