After a long-prayed-for rainstorm this afternoon, this just appeared over the Colorado Springs skies:
I’m confident there wasn’t a dry eye across the city. Certainly not in my household.
Please continue to keep all our friends and neighbors who lost everything in the Waldo Canyon Fire in your prayers.

Tomorrow, there will be an Independence Day benefit concert at World Arena — A Community Rises – organized by community leaders from all parts of the political spectrum. Issac Slade of The Fray will be a featured performer and all proceeds will benefit wildfire victims.
