Last week, Stephanie Cutter of the Obama campaign claimed to have been unaware of the story of Joe Soptic even though she heard all about it during a May conference call she hosted. Cutter later dropped her Sunday show appearance today, but fortunately she found a capable and worthy replacement.

Today’s whopper was served by DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who this morning claimed to be unaware of the party affiliation of Priorities USA. For all she knows, the people behind the Super PAC run by a former Obama administration deputy press secretary might be Republicans!

Debbie Downer later backtracked, which is good because for a second there I’m sure she had Bill Maher wondering if he accidentally donated a million dollars to a Super PAC run by conservatives.
