Nancy Pelosi was on Jimmy Fallon’s show Friday night (I haven’t heard what song the band played after she was introduced, but I’m sure the selection wasn’t nearly as snarky as it was when they had Michele Bachmann on). Pelosi added her own brand of comedy to the program by claiming that when Bush was president, Democrats were more than happy to work together with him and that obstructionism is something that incoming Republicans brought with them in 2010.
File under “pause for laughter”:
Back when Bush was in the White House there was less obstruction and more civility from Dems in Congress regarding the president? If you don’t count examples like this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this, I agree completely with Pelosi.
