Time for another depressing episode of “meet the people who cancel out your vote.”

The Charlotte host committee — and definitely not the Obama campaign — produced a video that was shown at the Democrat convention. In it is this line: “Government is the only thing we all belong to.”

In this video from Revealing Politics by way of Andy at Ace of Spades, people at the convention are asked how if feels to belong to the government. The responses are predictable:

Did it give any of them a second of ironic pause when they agreed that it feels good to essentially be owned by the government but probably nodded their heads in approval when Joe Biden told them the Republicans are the ones who will put them in chains? I know… had to ask though…
