When Jennifer Granholm was governor of Michigan, the economy was so bad that the biggest health risk was getting run over by U-Hauls filled with people and businesses fleeing the state for their economic lives. In the 2010 census, the only state to lose population was Michigan. In short, the state’s economy during Granholm’s eight years as governor was disastrous. Somehow though that qualified Granholm to be an Obama economic advisor, and subsequently earned her a high profile speaking role at the Dem convention where she demonstrated how to move the country Forward™ into a straight jacket.
Joe Biden’s had some doozies this year, but they don’t quite live up to Jennifer Granholm’s Dean-worthy address to the convention yesterday.
The clip ends just before Granholm called out Floyd Mayweather, Jr. for not giving her a shot at the belt:
This speech was entitled “Reality: It’ll run away in fear if you yell at it long enough.”
Update: If you don’t have time to watch the entire Granholm speech, a much shorter version is here.
