Suicide prevention: If you know something, say something

It’s never too late to reach out and help someone if you know he or she is struggling with life, depression, or mental illness.

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. But it doesn’t take a campaign or a law or a federal program to make a difference.

I’ve written before about the stigma attached to talking about this issue. This goes beyond straight or gay, civilian or military, liberal or conservative.

If you know something, say something. It could save a life.
