Obama quotes ‘New York Times economist’ as evidence Romney economic plan is a ‘snow job’

Not mentioned here is the fact that the “New York Times economist” President Obama is citing is… Paul Krugman:

Obama was referencing this Krugman column. Next thing you know Obama will be quoting a “journalist at NBC” without disclosing he’s talking about Chris Matthews.

If Paul Krugman is now the go-to economist of the Obama administration (not much of a philosophical change from the others, now that I think about it), is there still time for the “October Surprise” to be a space alien attack stimulus? But really, if Krugman’s so good at figuring out ways to stimulate an economy, let him first prove his mettle for saving and creating jobs on his home turf.
