First, a flashback to the infamous wisdom of Joe Biden from July of 2009: “You have to spend money to keep from going bankrupt”:

Being a gaffe machine can be lonely and thankless work, but Biden will be happy to know that people have been paying attention to his sage wisdom. Below is video of brief interviews with people in line for an Obama campaign rally this past Wednesday. The entire video is guffaw-inducing, but for my money the highlight is at about the 3:20 mark. After being asked if the trillions in new debt added since Obama took office is a problem, a woman replied in a way that must make Biden so proud — literally: “To get outta debt, you gotta get deeper in debt.”
